Have you changed your mind at all on this one Patriot ? :dunno

Do you still think that the CM is a better piece.

By the way I'm not saying that you're wrong, ( all subjective ) just wondered if your opinion had changed at all.
:)

I think the CM and this Wolf LSF are pretty close. If they both were on sale right now for 2K, I'd buy the CM because of CM's consistent quality and low edition size. But..the price of the CM is so high now, I don't think this Wolf is a lesser statue. It looks pretty badass to me.

Now back to ignoring the pics in this thread so I don't end up ordering yet another expensive statue this year. :gah:

Just opened and assembled Wolf... my thoughts... By Far this is the best SSC product I have ever purchased. I have been buying from SSC for the last 10 years. Hands down had I listened to the haters and not my gut... I would have never purchased this item. This is jaw dropping amazing. This comes from someone who is very picky about spending 2K... it's beyond what I expected... If you are on the fence about this figure don't be ... it's huge, heavy and extremely detailed.. I will post pics later.. again I have no idea what others were saying about this statue.. but it's amazing!!!!!!

Glad to hear! :hi5:

If this sells well why not... I'm very much expecting a BD T-800 Arnold...That would be a buy for me... I'm all in for Indy when he comes available for PO this coming year. I'm really riding the fence for Maul..but that Obi Wan looks amazing.. and if they do a Vader I'd be over the moon. I know I'm riding on a LSF high right now, but I've inspected every angle of this Wolf LSF for about 2 hours now and can't find, a chip, crack , or break.. even the paints really nice!!! We just keep looking at it and saying OMG.. plus the figure weighs a ton! I'm about to do something I've never done with SSC.. overly praise them, and leave a comment about the product on Facebook and the site. It was worth getting out of the 1/6 market and going just statue.. don't regret it at all.....

Even the xeno is extremely well sculpted and painted:

I yea. They will make another predator in LSF eventually. BUT. I'm praying they keep it in scale with wolf. Even tho I would love a bigger one. They should really keep them all in line. I'm excited to see what's in store with all LSF's in the future!

Anyone think SSC will come up with another LSF from the predator franchise? If so, I hope it's either P1 or P2.

they won't release another one until they stop production on this guy. P2 is a must. I know SS said they were thinking about a 1:2 P1, but I don't know how many have room for such a piece.

All I can say again is wow. literally, after opening it up and putting it together last night, my wife and I were just blown away. This statue looks like wolf predator is alive, coming right at you. I can not stress that the dynamic pose and how realistic it looks...he looks like it was cut out of the middle of an action scene. Being a big fan of the 1/5 statue and the diorama...I have to say, this puts them to absolute and complete shame. The diorama looks kind of stiff compared to this in terms of movement and the 1/5th...psh ( I will probably be selling mine ). I can not even believe I compared the 2 and said it was good enough. ITS NOT.

Statue is incredible and is now my grail piece. Such an amazing feat they have accomplished in this one. I found one error, the toe piece is a little bent like most everyone elses...thats all I could find so far.

Here is some pics....it was washed out bad because of my tan walls and it being so bright in the room. I had to turn the gamma down some and bump up the contrast very little to kind of even it back out. Still looks 100x better in person.

For the record....this thing is HUGE and plenty big enough. Personally I would not want it any bigger.

You really don't get the scale of this statue when it's just against a wall or table top... I certainly did not expect it to be as large as it is... not to mention the solid heavy body... The pose is extremely dynamic and the sculptor caught a moment in time after slicing the alien in two and leaping onto and over the severed body. Every square inch of this statue is covered in detail and texture.. The netting on the legs looks great to me, and I actually prefer it.. The razor whip can be posed and this lends itself to the animation of the statue...That is the outstanding part of this statue...it tells a story, and is not just a static boring pose.. Bravo to the art director, product designer/Illustrator, sculptor, painter!! I think I have #93 that's the number written on the side of the carton...
Just set him atop my Ikea Besta Cabinet and just finished placing the lighting. I'll take some photos tomorrow and post them....

No doubt. They're not going to want the sales of their next predator cutting into the sales of this one.

P2 LSF sounds mighty fine with me so long as it gets an equally impressive pose like Wolf. :yess:

I know Narin is making a 1/3 P2, but just imagine the cost to have it pro painted :thud:. Prolly 2k alone for just the build and you don't get a secure shipping box to go with it.

yea, I won't ever do that again. I got a super bad *** custom piece, paid 2k for it, and it came with a cracked tail. I so appreciate the protection of a "good" Styrofoam box from SS. That can be hit and miss for them too unfortunately.

Congrats man, btw that's what I have been waiting for a pic of this on top of besta. I was afraid it won't fit because besta is not deep enough, but it sounds it will fit fine. I am thinking to flex this bad boy.
