Hell no.

Regarding accuracy, I think the cheeks look too chubby, too wide. The softness of the sculpt really makes the whole thing look off though.

You obviously don't own this piece. The cheeks do not look soft at all. The sculpt is very striking in person. How are the cheeks fatter? The head is sold not light. The paint is just right. Pictures sometimes tend to make it appear soft only because of the very fine details not picked up on camera.

What part looks off?

Just in general, I never put too much thought into it as I didn't buy it, but off the top of my head, the details are quite soft in general, the laser housing is missing, the trophy teeth are a bit small and the lens is way off, far to thick.. I think a lot of it might be the paint app also though. A proper repaint over the light grey factory job and I'm sure it would look much better. Like I said, it isn't bad at all, and way better than the P2 maquettes mask.

Each to their own I guess... Smashes the new P2 out of the water for me!

Softness of the sculpt? Lol where are you looking?

I'm only speaking on the bio-mask. And yes, I obviously don't own this piece, the same as you guys obviously spent roughly two-thousand dollars on it.

The mask looks soft. It's not nearly as detailed as it should have or could have been. Seeing it in person isn't going to change that. The whole point of photographing these collectibles is to see what you're getting. Sure, most look more impressive in person, and the sheer size is definitely going to increase the "wow" factor, but the flaws will still remain.

Regarding the cheeks, like I said, I've just always thought they stick out too much. They're not as narrow and defined as they should be. On this bio they're fat/wide/flat/whatever word you want to use.

The prototype bio looked pretty much the same from what I remember.

I do agree that the mask could be a tad darker in shading, which I may get around to doing, after the gauntlet and cleaner pack upgrade.
The mesh in the eyes are def larger than they should be, but work to be fair.

the details on the mask are soft and comparing it to the real deal, the shape just never looked right to me either, which is why I never displayed that head.

Personally, the shape is Bob on! Has the right angle and correct forehead swoop back.

Here's a wolf mask that in my opinion is 'odd' looking compared to the original...

Here's the LSF Wolf Mask...

Here's the AVPR Diorama Mask...

Here's the Film mask...

As you can see, or at least I can... The LSF and AVPR Dio's are fairly accurate. Yes the Wolf LSF mask could have been painted a little better, which I'm going to tackle soon.

The laser housing is apparent on the LSF and could do with highlighting.

But the shape overall is very good and accurate in the sense of the forehead swoop and width of the mask relative to the head and body.

Each to their own, don't take too much offense. It just never looked completely right to me. I do love my 1:1 SSC Wolf bio however, I paid a fortune for it back when it commanded such a premium...

Lol, Python. I'm taking no offence bro! Haha!
I didn't sculpt it lol. Just discussing everyone's points ;)
I also love my Wolf Bio. I managed to grab mine for less than original retail, brand new a few years back ;) I remember a time these masks asked $1000. Lol!
I pray to god Cool Props do a new Wolf mask ;) and P1!

Yeah I remember well... I paid it and then some!

Wolf is actually one I'm not really interested in seeing from Coolprops as the Sideshow one is fine. Unless they really nail it that is...

Agreed, the Sideshow one rocks!
However it would be great to see an overly detailed version by Cool Props. With interior details and a real laser. Plus a base from cool props would be cool too as their bases actually look like something a predator would hang his mask ;)

compare the last two straight on shots of Wolf, then compare it to the statue. The shape was always clearly off to me and the spikes on the Bio are too short and the glyphs are too soft. The bottom of Wolfs mandibles should be showing. The only Bio on a Predator statue I ever thought was great was the P1 maquette, but that's because it literally is perfect.

Have you seen the DX Wolf mask RP?

Yeah I had it a few years ago. Liked it, but just looked to small to me. Very well made though. The light up base was a cool feature.
However when compared to the sideshow version... There was no match. So sold the DX version. .'. /_\ RP /_\ .'.
Yea, there are pros and cons to both versions. I had them next to each other for some pics, but the way the stands are I you can't get a good comparison(angle of the DX base is more straight on). Size difference is slight, but noticeable when they are right next to each other. I lucked into a new sealed SS version a few months back for a very good price and decided keep it instead, but the DX has a lot going for it(lasers, base, wires, inside details). It was hard to choose, but ended up going with the SS as I preferred the darker color and matching base to other SS bios.
