I am hoping it's no more than $1k.

that's just not realistic.

The winston version retailed for $1000 5 years ago, this one has an extra alien in the base, same switchouts, and arguably more difficult to make given the dynamic pose & details.

If they remade the original pred it will be at least a few hundred dollars more than $1000. Did you look at the PF prices 5 years ago vs now?

Honestly not sure what you guys are expecting here...get ready to be disappointed on tuesday.

btw where did you hear it will be open edition for sure?

Yea, in 5 years, pf's haven't doubled in price, so I don't understand your argument there. The Alien base might be more detailed in sculpt, but is flat as hell in paint app, the P1 logs have more color in it then this Alien base. Your right, a new P1 would be more, but only a couple hundred more? If Wolf is $2k, a new P1 will be $2k, Wolf won't be more or vice versa. Everyone already knows all LSF's are and will always be open ES, that's old news man.

After looking at this thing over and over, would not be surprised if it's $1,400 - $1,600. If the price is that low they should definitely have made an exclusive for this, just like what they did with the Optimus Prime statue.

Ok. A lil' bigger than 1/4 scale. Hence the LSF label. Exclusive switch out parts. Leather costume, real netting on the costume. Also, the whip that he is holding will be a soft rubber material with a wire in it so it can be posed. That's it for now! Enjoy! :wink1:

Cheers,
Neo.

Again on the price. I will stick by my guess that it will be over 1500, I think more around 1600-1800 will be my target on price. If it pushes at 2000 sideshow is totally out of their freak'in minds.

I hope I am totally wrong and it turns out being 1200, but the chances of that happening are about the same chances I have of winning the lotto.

I really wish they would just make a smaller version that is not LSF and have a smaller price.

well, what's interesting is, when they do a 1/5 version of Wolf, and it's priced at $300, you guys still feel even a $1500-1800 price tag is justified for a 1/4 scale piece?

It's not about what's justified, NOTHING justifies spending $300 on a toy statue to a sane person. It's about what sideshow will price this thing. And $1500+ is almost guaranteed, probably same price as neytiri.

Also you are really stretching the comparison, it's not just bigger scale, this is clearly made with much more detail/effort than 1/5, you know that already too.

Best looking LSF from the 1st batch IMO.

i think neytiri is better but noone cares about that character. Pred is 2nd best, the rest lsf trails far behind (and cost more too, go figure)
