I don't understand people that own this and have it in ****y conditions, a Smokey tobacco filled room, and damp cold rooms with direct sunlight. Why don't you just dump it in the garden shed? Look after these pieces and they will last.

Why would you assume that? Mine is displayed in a glass cabinet away from sunlight and the room is air conditioned almost 24/7.
You think people who can spend $2000 on a statue can't afford a proper display for it?

Took some pictures last night.
The leather is really peeling in the areas where it holds the weapons.
I'm really disappointed SS denied replacement part.
I've only had it displayed for less than 3 months.
Bought 3 months ago.

I hope this won't happen to yours, guys.

It's the leather. I can see the cracks start showing on other areas at the side too.

Shame this is the best predator statue ever made. Is it just the leather cracking or the actual statue? If it's just the leather you might be able to fix it up at a leather shop. If it's the statue then that is really bad.

It's just the leather but not sure how to take it off and if I can find a leather shop that can fix this.

It's the leather. I can see the cracks start showing on other areas at the side too.

My leather doesnt have cracks, but it is showing some lighter spots, and it also seems less smother than it was before.

Well, they didn't have replacements for this back in the days, let alone years later.

Could give ADI a shout, they made this thing so might be able to create a replacement part for it based on the one they have (Assuming they kept one). I imagine it would cost though.

No promises they will be able to help, they are a movie studio primarily. But if SSC can't help, it might be worth asking nicely given the value of the statue.

Good quality leather can literally last centuries. Longer then the polystone would last.

SS does use a lot of crap leather. The DROM pf suffers the same thing. Weak, broken leather right out the box. SS just sucks basically. I'll honestly never buy anything more than a basic Marvel pf from them. Once you start getting to $1k or above with any statue they make, it always has something wrong with it. Just look at the Death General pf. Looks gorgeous and looks to be super high quality, yet, many people have leaning issues with it. I just don't trust this company with my hard earned dough anymore.

no, I've heard of 3 I believe. I remember one guy was trying to sell his that already had a lean.
