Basically the aliens were dumbed down in AvP:R because the budget was reduced from 60 or so to 45 million.

Aside from that, I agree that both AVP movies are dumb. At least The Queen in AVP and The Wolf from AVPR were cool though.

The Aliens in AVP (and AVPR) were dumbed down because of studio executives that don't know profit from bull s hit.

Its very evident SS make pieces with very little consideration or thought for long term durability. Doesn't surprise me at all!

They also can't account for conditions of every home, too dry or humid can cause problems. Under normal circumstances I would expect that material to hold up better.

the thing is these arrived to customers with the crack already there, so it had nothing to do with the environment. It's just that most of you guys didn't notice til the subject was brought up.

You mean the Pred EX? I have not even gotten to it yet. I had 2 replacement statues come last week and my wonder woman EX. I also wanted to take some Big Chap photos and get it listed so I could pack him away and have room to unpack the Pred. I am hoping later today I will be able to get him opened up.

I don't understand people that own this and have it in ****y conditions, a Smokey tobacco filled room, and damp cold rooms with direct sunlight. Why don't you just dump it in the garden shed? Look after these pieces and they will last.

Mine is out of sunlight, dusted weekly and non of us smoke. No pets perfect conditions!
