Anyone considering selling there's, I wouldn't make it the last thing to go. In 10 years time the Wolf will be the ultimate grail piece for predator fanatics.

Hopefully in 10 years time we have a dozen bigger/better Pred pieces. Probably not by SS though.

Of course, but saying it will be THE predator grail piece is assuming everybody in general will feel that way, it's more likely the original SSC/SWS P1 maquette will remain as such in most peoples eyes simply due to it being the original design, the most accurate statue ever made and having the pedigree in that the guys who conceived and built the real deal also made the maquette. That in no way takes away any of the Wolf LSF's awesomeness of course...

Wolf is by far my favorite Predator but im not settleing for that at 2 grand.

I considered buying ti and sending straight to Dunaway as with his repaint and net removal it would have been a true grail but in the end i didnt want to give sideshow the money as they clearly couldnt give a damn about the customer with this one

I wouldn't say that, other than the small inaccuracy it is pretty damn good, and better than almost every other Predator they(or anyone) has ever made. If you have such high standards custom is probably the only way to go for you and those will be a lot more than $2K.

If I recall, there was a member who bought one for cheap because it was broken. So he removed the leg netting and repainted it himself or commissioned someone to do it.

I don't regret spending what I spent in this piece... It's amazing!
I would like to see the repainted version without the leg netting for reference. Has he uploaded any pics of it?

Sorry, its hardly a small inaccuracy. I suppose it is if someone was just a casual collector/fan remember this is a 2k item not one of the appallng predators maquettes. Cant get my head around serious pred collectors saying it enhances the statue etc etc its like painting C3P0s foot gold instead of silver, I wouldnt be bothered by it but you can bet a star wars collector would

I own this statue and I am huge Pred fan,and the netting is a non issue.Sure it might not be super duper accurate but its still one of hell of Pred statue

A totally different color is one thing, but something that logically could and/or should have been on that character is fine with most.
