Hmmmm...... more scaring required or Savage's theory confirmed????

The truth is out there........

Wolverine doesn't need to workout in order to get muscles it is part of his mutation. Without his body constantly trying to heal because of the damage caused by the adamantium retarding or inhibiting his mutation he has a muscle density far closer to that of a bear.

So yeah I win.

If this were true, he would be called Bearverine! Hahaha

Hoping we get a variant of this. Old Man Logan would be sick! Or X-Force. Or Classic Tiger Stripe yellow and blue costume.

I'd rather we got an all new original sculpt for those versions of Wolvie. SSC makes enough variants as it is. I can understand variants for characters that may not be very popular or sell well (like Red Hulk) but Wolvie will always sell and I'd like to see new sculpts for the character.

While you make a valid argument, the Exclusive, which we all know is the first run, is still available capped at only 1500.

Probably due to the price more than anything.

I agree. If this was priced at close to $400ish, I think it would have sold out. Quite a few peeps are starting to buck SSC merch because of the increased pricing of late. I'm one of them. I desperately wanted a Green Goblin PF for my collection but the price tag on the new PF is giving me cold feet. I just don't want to support these kinds of prices.

I wonder, just wonder, if SSC is instead of charging the current market value, e.i. $400, they are now projecting estimated value or costs at time of release...? How else can we decipher the rapid increase? And maybe its not consistent like the $399 was because they have no idea and are playing/guessing with the numbers :dunno

We can only speculate as to the reason why. However, if the average PF is consistently now at or near $500, that's a sandbox I don't want to be playing in. I just don't see the value in buying SSC merch at $500 a pop. There's a few pieces that I'll end up buying to complete my lineups but after that, the end is near.

Yeah, even if they do go belly-up they'll have large enough cash cushions to fall back on. They're also a very large distributor for a lot of other companies as well. I think I'm about done buying Sideshow products though.

One falls, two more replace them. I honestly don't have much staying power in this hobby either anymore. I have so many other hobbies outside of SS so they will be the first to go sadly.

Luckily I believe both of us are fairly close to completing our lists so at least the end is near in the respect as well.

I'm jealous you guys are able to still dabble in this hobby, after they went north of $400 I was out. I'm just waiting for that one piece that I simply must have to use up my reward points. Still waiting :lol
