Yeah, that amazon sloth look is a pass for me... I'll be happy with the hairless brown version.

I love it. It's my favorite Wolvie statue and I'd be thrilled if this new brown PF looked like that. If it looked like the XM Wolvie, then I'd say keep it as is.

Fair enough. If the new one looked like that there'd be just as much dissatisfaction I think. My biggest worry are the claws. I just want them to be straight.

Sure hope SS surprises us with Metal claws. It would make this piece shine...... and I suppose arm hair for some. :rotfl

I'm still just waiting for the blue variant. If they don't do one it will be yet another missed opportunity. Busy making White-Black Widow instead of the ones that should have variants.

I'm just waiting for an all new blue statue for you. Would love to see it happen for you.

Metal claws are a much more legitimate complaint than arms hair imho. That's something I really don't see why they shouldn't be able to make since even custom makers are able tu pull, and as a detail is much more noticeable than hair - especially considering how dull is Sideshow's metallic paint app, on average.
They didn't put them on the LSF too, tho, so it seems that after Comiquette and PF they decided not to go for them anymore.
Worths to mention that Pinhead had metal nails also because it was a major factor in shipping the head safely - on the opposite, Wolverine's gauntlet can easily be shipped without breakages, so they don't really have any incentive in going for metal instead of polystone.

Good point. I'd much rather see SSC concentrate on giving Wolvie metal claws than giving him hairy arms.

But would we even visually notice whether its metal or not while observing from a display? The hair you can visually see.

Don't get me wrong, Id rather have metal claws than poly also.

It depends on how they paint them. The ones on the LSF are dull. Overall, Sideshow's metallic paint apps ARE subpar, they're always dull, opaque, nearly plastic-like. Ultron on Throne, Ultron PF, the new Doom PF, Doom LSF, Wolverine LSF, these are all examples on top of my head. The Green Goblin PF has that same dull effect on the glider and on the belt, even on the proto.

Mule is right. It depends on their paint app.

However, there's no mistaking real metal claws. I love how the metal claws look on my XM Wolverine. Would love to see the same metal claws on this brown Wolverine.
