That's a cool idea. I do have a stand for my batman head but I don't have room to openly display all my extra parts.

Looks like Brown Costume Wolverine seems to be making a come-back.

Hasbro unveiled its 8 figure build a figure Juggernaut Wave.

I think Wolverine and Deadpool will be the hardest ones to find. They all look fantastic.

They must've thought about a Phoenix variant to the Dark Phoenix PF... the colorway would pop and look pretty nice.

They did. You know SSC loves their variants but Marvel shot it down. It's a shame because green and white variants would have definitely sold well for them.

Damn, that sucks, I wonder why? Yeah, i would've preferred the green/gold colorway because there would've been some more contrast to the fiery phoenix base.

I just want a green Phoenix. It looks like I may have to hunt down the XM Phoenix. I like the XM Phoenix but the portraits on her don't thrill me (along with the Sentinel base). I think the rest of the piece looks fantastic. I was even thinking of buying the Dark phoenix PF and simply getting her repainted to her green and gold colors. I love both portraits on the PF but think the flaming eagle looks so much better on the XM piece. I have to figure something out because I really need a green Phoenix for my collection.

There ya go. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. Repaint the PF or buy the XM Phoenix. It'll cost me just about the same $$$ either way.

Repaint should be a little cheaper. Also the portraits are better.

Sorry to go off topic here - but I'm honestly trying to get out of figures myself, however....this line up is freaking amazing! Too good to pass up. I went on bbts and ordered all of them in one lot....for the sole purpose of posing them with my SS Sentinel..perfect size. this was from months ago just playing around after I opened my second one (first one broke in shipping).

It's about the same. The PF will be about $530 shipped to me. Figure about another $80 more for shipping to a painter and back. Most good painters charge at least $400 for a repaint. That's over a G right there. I've been eyeing an XM Phoenix that's selling for exactly $1000 and it's been up for sale for a pretty long time. I'm fairly certain the seller would take a G shipped for her. The piece has dropped in the aftermarket considerably since her high point.

I agree with you 100% on the PF's portraits. IMO, they are far superior to XM's. However, XM's flaming bird slams the PFs tiny one. Also, even though Marvel said no to the variants...would it really surprise anyone if SSC found a way to get it done down the line? I'd be pissed at myself for dropping a G to customize the Dark Phoenix PF only to see a variant go up for PO in the future. That's the main reason I'm leaning toward getting the XM Phoenix. Only 999 of her made and maybe I can look into a custom portrait for her. Like I said, I have to figure it out sooner or later. For right now the only X-MEN piece I have coming in any time soon is the EX brown Wolvie PF. I'm looking forward to pairing him up with the classic Sabertooth PF I have on PO. After they come in, I'll make a decision on Jean.

No worries, we've been going off topic for awhile now. That Sentinel MAQ looks fantastic. Congrats on picking up the figures to go with it. I'm sure it'll look great displayed in your collection.

The new Legends made by Hasbro are stellar

It's been almost 14 years since collectors received proper figures for Phoenix and Wolverine. A lot of those figures were retooled from their predecessors from 2004.

I'm super excited for the wave

Rumour has it that series 2 will include

Shatterstar
Colossus
Polaris
Dazzler
Cyclops
Wolverine (maybe x23 or old man Logan variant)
Sunfire


These figures go extremely well with Sentinel

Better than the 3.75 figures imo

I hope the build a figure for next wave is Apocalypse, Mr Sinister, Sebastian Shaw, or Sauron
