The head is detachable? I thought it was all one piece and that might be why they didn't include the extra heads. It makes no sense to me now why they couldn't include the other heads when it's already designed to have the head removable. It was no problem for the LSF wolf...what's the deal :dunno

^^ I'm interested to see how this is going to get displayed by collectors.

You need to get a Pax Mamba, especially if your planning on getting more LSF statues. He will fit in one of them just fine

I think these larger statues like LSFs are best when displayed on top of Pedestal or tabletop not inside the cabinet. Even the instruction says that: This is intended for pedestal or tabletop presentation.

Good pedestal probably will cost us hundred of dollars, I am looking for a cheaper alternative :)

So far I am thinking this Ikea side table for $69.99

Product dimensions
Length: 21 5/8 "
Width: 21 5/8 "
Height: 19 5/8 "

Length: 55 cm
Width: 55 cm
Height: 50 cm

I wish it's a little bit taller though.

Btw product page is now showing:
PRE-ORDER Est. ship: 2nd Qtr 2013 (it was May2013 before).

I hope they are not delaying this.

What months is Q2. I'm guessing its April to June? I was told some companys have different Q's to others, if that's true or not? :dunno

If your getting this piece you have to display it right and not on a little Ikea table. This needs to be at eye level when people walk into a room.

If your willing to pay $2000 for a statue you need to cough up a few dollars for a nice display. Never understood paying a ton of cash on these then having them on a crappy shelve from walmart or something.

This thing deserves the best dispaly you can set up. It wouldn't be hard to pick up some lumber and make your own stand.

Thats my thoughts but I ain't buying one so whatever.

When I took a trip to my "Local" Ikea I considered this piece but its just not tall enough IMO.

This is actually a much better option for a pedestal...I almost got one myself but I decided on the EXPEDIT instead as it was higher and super sturdy ( this is very sturdy also in person ).

Here are the ones I'm waiting on from Home Dept. I'm getting the $109.99 black ones...

Best display options are usually the simplest and cheapest. Get some 2x4's build a frame and drape some black velvet over it. Problem solved. You can make it any height you want and depth you want. Will look better than the over priced and cheap stands your looking at on those websites. Even SS uses the same technique at SDCC to display their stuff. Might cost you $20 to make.

Believe me it's the best option.

Not a bad thought Chris.. SSC uses that method.. due to mobility, and ease of display build up and tear down.. they can also use the black velvet to hide cartons and aid in storage.

Thank you for the link, I kind of prefer square table than round, but I may consider this.

What is the depth on your EXPEDIT? Is it 15"?

I like the Expedit too, it's great for the Wolf, but for Wolvie I think the width is too small, the base will stick out.

That's actually very nice pedestal and the price is not too bad, the problem is the depth is only 14" which I don't think it will fit Wolvie's base, it will stick out. Are you getting this for your Wolverine or Wolf Predator? For Wolf it will be perfect I think.

Actually I don't like the display table at SDCC, don't like the fabric/velvet that they used to cover it with all the wrinkles, they look cheap IMO.

Anyway, I wonder how big is the Wolverine's base. I know Wolf's base diameter is 15", so the depth of Wolvie's base probably 17" or 18"?

I'm getting it for Wolf and Maul.. I'm making one for Wolvie to match the 2 from Home dept. Have a friend with a wood shop, and he's letting me make a custom one there.
