better get your wolverine merchandise now....
before the movie comes out... everything will double in price

Seriously. If you think the Wolverine Comiquette and Bowen statues are expensive now, wait for a few months before the movie comes out and right after!!! Sky high!!!

Glad I got 2 of the Bowen Faux Bronze Wolvie stautes!!! I was gonna sell one for kinda cheap, but now I'll just hold on to it til next year.

Emma Frost Joins in Wolvie's "Origins"

More news from Comic-Con on the Wolverine stand alone film…

Apparently, Wolverine will be joined by Gambit, Deadpool, the Blob, and Emma Frost.

Hugh Jackman confirmed at Comic-Con that Emma Frost is in the movie, which has just finished shooting and comes out next May. The footage also showed Sabretooth, Deadpool, Silverfox, Gambit, Blob and William Stryker.

Thebadandugly.com has posted blurry screencaptures of the aforementioned characters:

Now, speaking of ugly, rumor has it that Bryan Singer's version of the movie had Emma Frost in X-Men 3 not as the insanely hot sexpot psychic we all know and lust after, but instead as an old flame to Charles Xavier who would have used her empathic abilities to push Jean Grey over the edge and giving birth to the Dark Phoenix persona (which is actually relatively similar to the comic version of Jean's descent into the Dark Phoenix). And who, pray tell, would we have seen as Emma Frost?

Yep. Sigourney Weaver. This makes my skin crawl… Just as a reminder, Emma Frost is supposed to look like this:

Yeah. Sigourney Weaver? Not so much. They better get it right with whomever they've chosen for this film…

Hey, Ms. Weaver is a hot GGILF.

I didn't write the article, I just report the news. That being said I'd say she is past her prime and I wouldn't dip my pen in that ink....but I wouldn't call her ugly then again I don't want to see her dressed up as Emma either.

Hugh Jackman talks about Gambit and Deadpool characters in Wolverine spin-off
Jul 28, 08

ACTOR Hugh Jackman has revealed details of two of the new characters who will appear in next year's Wolverine spin-off from the X-Men movies.

Jackman, who plays the metal-clawed mutant Wolverine, spoke to Splash Page about two of the other characters to appear in the film - Gambit, who has the power to charge objects with explosive energy, and is played by Taylor Kitsch; and Deadpool, who has an artificial healing power derived from Wolverine's own similar ability, and is played by Ryan Reynolds.

The image above shows Reynolds and the Deadpool comicbook version - images in a teaser trailer show the 31-year-old actor dressed as the character, but without the mask.

Jackman said about Ryan's role as Deadpool: "We were so thrilled to get Ryan. He's the greatest guy. Incredibly funny. He plays Deadpool, the merc with a mouth. Not an easy guy to play. He's always jabbering. He's always going. Physically he's in unbelievable shape and yet he's also got that comedic ability. There are only a handful of actors that can do that."

And on Taylor Kitsch as Gambit, Jackman said: "I can say it. He's sexy, right? He's a little bit like a junior Wolverine in a way. He's a little bit of a wise guy. He's an outsider. He's got some issues himself. He's mischievous. He's cheeky. He's a bit of a badass.

"We have a really great fight sequence. Physically that guy is an animal. He was chucking himself around on the concrete. He has that passion that I remember having when I first did Wolverine. There was no way a stunt double was doing anything for him."

An early teaser trailer for the movie, out next May, was shown at San Diego Comic-Con, and was the first sighting of the mutant Emma Frost, a telepath who can also transform her flesh into a super-hard diamond form.

And report the news you do Mr. Newsman. Hey she isn't something I would go for, all I said is she's a GGILF. You can figure out what that stands for. :naughty

I can't wait to see Gambit, speaking of which that would be a very cool PF, with light up cards feature.

For those unaware of what the actor who is playing Gambit looks like:
