I really like the casting of Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth, but all the other new stuff looks kind of lame to me. Of course, we don't really know jack about this yet, so any serious predictions at this point would be a bit premature.

Just watched the new trailer....I always liked Jackman as Wolverine even though he is too goddamn tall but other than that everything else in the trailer left me very eh.

Glad they are taking certain aspects from the books and using them.
Sad to see them trying to stick too many damn mutants in this one.
There is plenty of story to with just him and maybe Sabretooth, without having to use the others.

Saw the trailer, crapped my pants, it looks grea. having recently read the origin comics, I see they followed his backstory very well. My only, ONLY concern with this movie involves them doing Wade wilson correctly.

Same here. I have no problem with Wolverine being the same height as Sabretooth. Yes, Logan is extremely short and Sabretooth extremely tall, but in the Ultimate Universe Wolverine is over 6 foot. Since the X-Men movies share a large number of niceties in common with the Ultimate U, I have no problem. I was curious about Liev Shreiber as Sabretooth, but from the menace he exudes in the trailer, and knowing that he is a huge fan of the comics, I'm very confident he will do one of Marvel's most infamous sadists the justice he deserves.

Ryan Reynolds = excellent casting as Deadpool. There needs to be a skill level but also that constant bemused, often comical arrogance. I'm really hoping Gambit is worked into the story believably, and that he doesn't come off as just fanboy pandering.

I'm also wondering about the timeline/sequence of events. We know Wolverine comes to war alongside Sabretooth, that he eventually seeks revenge against him and joins Weapon X. Will we see Sabretooth incorporated into Weapon X as well? Not sure at this point, but the whole "I think he heard you" line has me curious about the context. Also hoping they tie it in well to X-Men in a solid way with the memory aspect.

I think we'll definitely see HT figures from this line. There are going to be so many iconic characters, and this is definitely a dark story, which I for one am thrilled about. I didn't want this to be a movie just to sell action figures for Hasbro, but one where adults could walk out of the theater saying, "Damn that was awesome." Liev Schreiber was right when he said men don't really mature emotionally and intellectually mature beyond the age of 22 (not to diminish that I'm sure there are women excited about this movie too). We want to see the comic book characters we know and love portrayed faithfully, we want it jam-packed with action, and we want to have kick ass collectibles from the film.

I just hope is not a fiasco like part 3.

Hugh Jackman admitted that they took serious liberties with Deadpool's character, to the point where he didn't want to elaborate in the press because he was worried that fans would react before giving the film a chance....take that for what its worth.

We didn't get a Ray Stevenson Punisher which puts into serious doubt that HT has a full Master License for Marvel films. We know they have a Marvel Studios license with Iron Man offerings but that would only cover Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man, Captain America and the eventual Avengers films. They'd have to get licensing from the various studios on top of Marvel which they didn't bother to do with Punisher obviously. These things are well in the works before the film itself premieres so the film's success would only determine more offerings.

I hope we get at minimum a WWII Wolverine because HT does their soldiers great and a modern Wolverine, they keep the signature jacket and jeans costuming so it'd double as a standard X-Men film Wolverine nicely.

I'm really hoping Gambit is worked into the story believably, and that he doesn't come off as just fanboy pandering.

Hugh Jackman said he was most impressed by the Gambit/Wolverine fight so that gives me a bit of hope since in reality Gambit is a glorified cameo and not a full appearance.

Unless I'm mistaken, he's one of the guys who brings wolverine into Weapon X. If it's before his body goes cancer crazt, ok, fine, I can live with that. i'd just want to see a GOOD 1/6th deadpool, and this is our best chance at seeing it happen. moving on.

they Keep it so that Logan ( Sabertooth's father) Still kills Wolverines father, and in turn is Killed By wolverine the first time he pops his claws... from the trailor alone, it looks that way. I do hope they don't try to reinvnet James Howlett too much.
