I really don't understand this...? It does look like tape, and I doubt they'd bastardize Deadpool like that. I guess we'll have to wait and see but I have high hopes. That's also the first picture I've seen where Deadpool's head is shaved. Interesting.

Granted. I remain optimistic though. Have you seen Deadpool in action in the latest tv spot (Legends)? No shaved head, flourishing katanas and giving sass to Sabretooth. Looks awesome, and this mini-fig is the first depiction I have seen of the character looking that odd way, and the only one that looks characteristically lame.

Deadpool is played by Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder/Blade Trinity). IMO that is the absolute perfect fit. He's always the sarcastic quick witted type. Basically its his character in Blade Trinity with a healing factor.

Tim Pocock is a younger actor. Probably supposed to be Scott in his teens, and I would guess we might see the head trauma that leads to his lack of optic blast control.

Marsden was 27 years old in the first movie. Assume young cyclops is 17-18 thats 10 or 11 years since Wolverine underwent the Weapon X treatment. I would also say you can forgive 5 or 6 years easy on Marsden's character. So it could conceivably be 15 years prior to X-men one.

Better, look at William Stryker's ages in the movies. The actor that plays Stryker in Origins is 47. The actor that played him in X-men 2 was 57. That means you can assume a 10-15 year span between movie time periods.
