5/10 if im being kind... The plot holes were terrible as was that Deadpool thing.
Wolverine was SO much more interesting with his past a mystery. They should've used to money spent on this film to redo X3; Directed by Bryan Singer PLEASE.

Here's the freaking retarded Deadpool ending.....goddamn I hate fox.

(It's pulled....or will be soon.)

Anyway, its Deadpoop's hand (new name! :lol I liked it better then Barkrapool) comes out of the rubble, grabs his head, and the head looks at the camera, and says "Shhhhhh". Thats it. Sure...he breaks the forth wall...but he STILL HAS HIS RETARDED POWERS!!!

How can he say "Shhhhh"? He doesn't have a mouth! :lol Gawd, this movie is so ridiculous! :duh

I thought the movie was absolutely horrid. I didn't have super high expectations going into the theater. But i also didn't expect to have the strong urge to leave the movie half way through the movie. I felt many scenes were cut badly and dont get me started on deadpool. when that whole weapon 11 thing started i just kinda said " Im done" To be perfectly honest i thought punisher war zone was a better done movie.

FAIR WARNING

This is the harshest review I have ever given. I'm not trying to be an ass, I avoided as much as I could because I heard alot of negative, and this morning I woke up early and went and saw it. I was excited and optimistic but not expecting the next great X-Men. I needed some time to let it sink in but here it goes.

2.5 / 10

What a mess. Shoot me in the head please, I want to forget.

Who is responsible for this? They need to lose their job(s) IMMEDIATELY. These people made Fantastic Four look like 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Tim Story look like Martin Luther King. Not only would I have rather watched Hugh Jackman dressed as a Nazi, and throwing copies of X-Men into a blazing inferno for two hours, but I suspect it would have been better written and had better character development.

What source material were these people looking at?

Listen very, VERY carefully. YOU CANNOT throw out everything and anything related that has already been established in THREE (3) Movies, and then still referance those films as the future of your own timeline.

The only thing I could even begin to liken this abomination to, is imagine your watching the Dark Knight, were going along smoothly an hour in, then all the sudden, Arnold as Mr. Freeze were to show up and say he had some unfinished buisness with Christain Bale's Batman. But wait thats not retarded enough yet. Christain Bale would have to take his mask off, then be like, "Hey man, wrong movie, we rebooted the franchise" and Arnold would be like "I dun care, youaneye ar guna hav it out" and Christain Bale just turned and looked at the camera and went "^^^^ it" and then fought him anyway. THAT is how utterly retarded this, 2 hours of wasted film reel was. I will not refer to this as a movie. It was wasted film.

This is, and I ^^^^ you not, the FIRST time EVER, I asked for my money back. Ever. I go to the movies like 3 times a week. The woman who knows me was dumbfounded. She had to get her manager and I got 2 free tickets next time I go. I'm greatful for that, but it doesn't make anything right.

I'll wait to get into exactly what my problems were specificly until tonight or tommorow when more people have seen it. But I think it should be rather obvious, its mostly the same stuff I've gone back and read here.

Btw I didn't even stick around for the after the credits stuff, nobody did.

One last thing I'll say, is I feel really bad for Hugh, who I genuinely believed had the best intentions, but w/e tryed cramming all these other characters in should suffer the same fate as Ryan Reynolds.

Don't hold your breath for Gambit or Deadpool.

I feel bad for Jackman, Shrieber, Reynold, Durand and even Kitch (Gambit). They all put in good performances. But that is really the only true positive thing I can say about this mess.

BTW, now 38% on RT and falling. Even the HANNAH MONTANA movie is faring better.

I almost want to go see it because people are saying its so bad....it like wanting to head over and see the train wreck. :lol

i thought the same thing that deckard said, where was the source material, its like they had like a big book of the wolverine story filled out for them by marvel and someone spilled a gallon of fruit punch on it making every other story fragment was readable, then someone said what the hell lets just come up with the missing stuff ourselves.

My 7 out of 10
has been bothering me. After thinking about for a while I should revise it.
So I would like to downgrade it to 6 out of 10.

It's not great, but it has it's moments, like the opening montage of Wolverine and Victor fighting in all the wars also Liev Schreiber and Ryan Reynolds play there roles well.
One thing I want to mention is that the after credits ending set in Japan is the one I saw . I searched the Internet and have not found anybody who has seen the Deadpool ending yet.
The one that is suposed to exist is that XI is a clone. Wade Wilson picks up the head after the credits and say's shhhhhh! to the camera

Hopefully you're not revising it because of what is being said in this thread. I think some wouldn't like no matter what. I will see it this Sunday if the weather stays nice. I don't follow the comics at all and I liked X3, so maybe I'll like this.

Some people can be blinded by the hype of something...like there was a short period where I thought AvP-R was good....it wasnt until I tried to re-edit it, when I realized it was poopy.

From an AICN writer......funny ^^^^!:

The filmmakers also, for some inexplicable reason, feel the need to abuse green-screen projection for way too many of the driving scenes. I watched Fozzie Bear drive a real live car down a real live road 30 years ago in "The Muppet Movie." Is there a particular reason that Hugh Jackman is denied the privileges afforded a Muppet?

No, the comments on here have not changed my mind. I just started to think if I was giving a rating based on a 5 star system I would give it 3 out of 5, but I prefer scoring out of 10, so based on that, I revised it to a 6 out of 10.
I enjoyed the movie and my wife who does not know anything about the comics enjoyed it even more.

I liked it quite a bit and will probably go to another showing at some point.

If you enjoy the movie versions of the Marvel charcters and their continuity, then you should like it just fine. If you're some weirdo that thinks they can cram fifty years worth of comics into several two hour films, then don't bother going to see any of the Marvel movies.

My version had the Wolverine in Japan ending, but I found the Deadpool ending on youtube:

This would have been a better end credit clip :lol

Well said. I still don't think it was a great movie. But i hardly think it's garbage like some here would have people believe. I also agree that if you enjoy the MOVIE characters and their continuity you should like it enough.
