I only meant that you could most likely save closer to a $100 than $20 after these statues are released. I have a feeling they're going to make a lot of them. Retailers could drop the price $60 to $80 to sell them quicker, and they would still make a nice profit.

Retailers are only allowed to discount 15%. If they go any further and Sideshow catches them Sideshow can and will pull their retailer account.

That's crazy, I did not know that. That's probably one of the reasons they stopped seeling to internet retailers. I'm assuming that this statue is going to be $400, so I guess they'll only be able to drop the price by $60 if they play by the rules, but then again not that many people do.

Yeah, its there way of making the retail competition more level. At this point I doubt they even have to sell through LCSs except for internationally where people pay import fees and the like.

Even then mate local retailers just pass on those costs to the consumer. If you add SS's price plus shipping and taxes it's invariably the same price as the local guy. I use SS coz I can flex pay dat ***.

The flex pay is a nice option. Although, sometimes I get a little carried away with it. I find myself reasoning with myself, "it's just another $100 bucks a month" and the next thing I know I've got a $500 bill coming in every month. Sometimes I like to just pay in full like I did with my last couple ARH statues, so the bill doesn't come back to haunt me later on.

Yes, reward points are nice. They saved me $100 on my Batman PF. Although, I should have just waited until I had enough for a whole PF because I lost $15 worth of points.

Well that is because she IS based on Cobie...from Igo over at SF

Design for her was done by Kris Anka, who's a huge fan of WW. He designed the costume redesign, came up with the pose, and used Cobie as a jumping point for the inspiration for the portrait. After he established all those call-outs, Schu too this thing beyond anything we couldve hoped for, and Kat Sapene killed the paint as usual.

Every Stan Lau piece as well, hell, most of our DC line was initially designed by Kris, but as time went on he got busier with Marvel work and we brought Stan on to do the Key Art pieces which influenced the sculpts in the end, but this WW piece it's all Kris and Schu. Kris is currently in the middle of wrapping up the key art which is phenomenal, and he's changed some of it based on what Schu brought to the sculpt, a true collaboration.

As for Bats and Supes costumes, actually all of our DC line, they are all based on the most iconic idealized version, so sometimes it's a bit of this, a bit of that. DC's been awesome about not holding us over a fire to stick to EXACTLY one version specifically. Even specific costumes get interpreted differently artist to artist, and DC's been great about letting us do what we think is best for the PF line.

The WW you guys see in the video, which is all sculpt, is 95% done with some paint tweaks still remaining, but she's almost there.

Glad the majority of you guys seem to be digging the hell out of it. It's my most anticipated DC piece right now along with Lobo. The exclusive has changed since the design sheet, which shows up in the video, so have fun guessing with that.

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman? You have got to be kidding me. She looks nothing like the character, and she can't act. Henry Cavill can't act either, so I guess they'll have something in common. Whoever is doing the casting for Zack Snyder should be fired. It's bad enough they got Ben Afleck playing Batman.
