Did any of you guys happen to read this Gal Gadot interview online?

Responding to criticism that she lacks the curves of Lynda Carter, the previous actress to portray Wonder Woman on screen, Gadot said, "Breasts… anyone can buy for 9,000 shekels and everything is fine. By the way, Wonder Woman is Amazonian, and historically accurate Amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I'd really go 'by the book'…it'd be problematic.

Correct me if I'm wrong since I don't follow WW comics, but I've never seen DC depict their Amazons with 1 breast.

She wasn't being sarcastic. In greek mythology the Amazons were a group of warrior women from Assyria. They were the daughters of Ares and Harmonia. The two most notible daughters are Hippolyte and Antiope, who were Queens of the Amazons. The name Amazon is believed to be derived from the Greek word amazoi, when translated from Greek means "breastless". The myths indicate that the young womens right breast was either burnt, or cut of to enable them to pull their bow back with less interference. The bow and arrows were their weapon of choice.

For some reason, a lot of people didn't separate her comment about real Amazonians (legend or otherwise), from Amazons in DC comics.. the confusion continues.

Gadot will make a horrible Wonder Woman. Even if she wasn't a bad actress she's Israelian for Christ's sake. You might as well get Conan O'brien to play Cyborg.
