Quick question...I'm doing a Batman display with all the villians, but I do really want WW. I'm not interested in Superman, and will not put her with my Batman display...should I still get her even though she will be by herself? I also have started an Avengers area as well....not sure what to do?

Step 1 - Sell your Avengers

Step 2 - Rethink your stance on not getting Superman

Step 3 - Using the money from the sales on Step 1 buy two Batman PFs and one Superman PF

Step 4 - Enjoy your 2 new set ups: DC Trinity PF and Batman + Bad Guys PF

Perfect advice I followed step 4 to a tee. The three didn't apply to me. :goodpost:

*or buy this Batman PF, Superman PF and Wonder Woman PF while waiting for the Blue and Grey Batman PF that can be displayed with both the Villains or Trinty. Switch Batmans between displays at your leisure :)

You are a huge comic fan but never understood what makes Batman great as a character? The REAL Batman from the comics? Really? :lol

You don't need to be condescending, it was not meant to upset you:) I started reading comics over 30 years ago as a kid. As a kid i couldn't care less about the complexity of the character, the internal struggles and what not that make batman have so much depth, admittedly more than most if not all the others. I liked super powerful, superhuman abilities and that is because I was a kid. However, our likes and dislikes are forged in those early ages, which explains why my two favourite characters have always been the Hulk and Superman, because the seeds were planted back then. As i got older I learned to appreciate Batman, especially as the reboots came out, but really batman to me was the Original movie and series, and that guy is not in the same league as superman, wonder woman and the hulk. I love batman, but i have a limited budget I can spend on these things, and batman didn't make the cut because it isn't as epic a character for me. I don't know why you would question my logic or love of comics because of that. :dunno

I just realized there's no way to pose these together. The sculpts have the wind blowing everything in all directions...

But Batman's cape goes one way and Superman's the other - so they will display together very well with Wonder Woman in the center. That's if you can find a spot to put all three together. I had to move 3 other PFs just to make a place for Batman.

I usually follow the rule that I must be a fan of the character and not the sculpt for me to pick it up otherwise I just end up selling it in the long run. If your not sure and money isn't an issue, you can PO the sculpt and if you don't like - simply return it. If money is an issue, as someone said earlier...there will be a huge amount of these made so i'm betting in the after market you could get a better idea if this is something you actually want and then pick it up. With such a huge large number being anticipated, I don't think the price will skyrocket too much. Hope that helps.

Yup and I missed the boat on the Batman Ex PF (because of timing, not that I was indecisive) but picked one up in the aftermarket at a close to cost price. No sweat off my brow. :)

I find that if you missed the boat and get them right after release the mark up is minimal than if you wait.

Batman has many times taken out the super powerful super humans you like so much. He has taken Superman out more then a few times, and his "plans" were used by Ra's al Ghul to take out the entire JLA in the Tower of Babel storyline. I loved the stories because with Batman brains always beat brawn.

Loved Tower of Babel! But speaking of the JLA, you can't go wrong with NWO or Rock of Ages, at least for me. Loved Morrison's run on JLA.

So tempted to pick up WW now that I'm considering cancelling my preorder for MOS Zod. Darn, why did I have to venture into the statue section. :lol

You win! He will now buy the Batman PF. Good thing you convinced him that his tastes were incorrect!

Didn't realize that sharing my opinion constitutes telling him that his is incorrect. Perhaps you can find better things to do then playing Internet-Superhero-Man :dunno

oh and do I get a gold medal for my win??? :clap

Mmmm, statues of highly popular, female characters rarely, if ever, fetch high markups in the after-market.

Especially if they don't have goggly eye syndrome :slap
