I didn't get batman because even though I'm a huge comic fan i never really got on with batman as a kid. I liked the adam west batman but because it was funny, not because he was a badass. I always thought it was weird to lump batman in with supes and ww. This statue is so epic I am going to get it just for the artistic appreciation of it, and how it will go with supes.

You are a huge comic fan but never understood what makes Batman great as a character? The REAL Batman from the comics? Really?

Oh come on...I could post 100x more pics of WW without her warrior garb dating back to 1942. You guys are discounting 40+ years of WW heritage. Plus all those Pérez pics are from the same storyline but...nobody here is questioning her Amazon warrior background. I've always liked the optional armor she wears but it sure in hell isn't as iconic as her classic togs and utility lasso.

I didn't say anything about the statue and showed my wife the preview pic from the sideshow site. She commented that she thought she looked masculine, but then I clicked on the video preview and seeing her from different angles removed that. This statues looks so awesome! The flag and the blowing hair are what put it over the top for me.

I know eventually SS will make more WW pieces but this piece is awesome! After seeing all the pictures I like her even more then when I watched the video. IMO I think SS really hit it out of the park on this one! Plus that half smile just seals the deal!

I wonder if this is 100% fully sculpted or if there's any mixed media?

It does look like the upper part is leather - but perhaps it's just a textured sculpt. I've never seen leather do that.

I showed the pics of Wonder Woman to three friends (1 woman & 2 men) and my friend Mike said "Is that the hot chick from How I met your mother?" my other two friends agreed with the resemblance to Cobie Smulders.

And I'm sure it's a coincidence, but Cobie plays Wonder Woman in the Lego Movie...

Because its the direction of the wind, not the fact that they're all standing on bases from different parts of the world, that prevents them from being displayed together?

It would be cool if SS surprises us with a 359.99 price tag. Maybe to reward the buyers for spending so much on statues as loyal customers. It's possible, who knows for sure until order day. I mean she doesn't have a huge sculpted cape. This could be savings for us. We can wish until day of order.
