Wait....what??

Translation: If you use a coupon on an order, you can still earn Reward points. The total number of reward points will be in what you paid on the item. So if you have a $20 Gift Card and bought Wonder Woman, you'd get reward points based on a price of $380.

Apparently the policy changed recently.

From SSAlex

"Any applied discount is under this new reward point earning policy that's been put into place recently, so whether you use a gift card, gift certificate, reward points, coupon code, etc. you will still earn reward points on what you paid for the piece after the discount amount you apply."

Oh, that includes Reward Points?

So I used $204.50 on Wonder Woman... that means I should earn the rewards points based on a price of $195.49?

This is great. I can use those monthly $20 coupons on a 1/6 figure, life size bust or lsf and still get rewards points.

That sounds pretty cool. Kudos to Sideshow. No more hoarding points for fear on losing the difference in points.

The ES for Superman was announced almost 2 weeks after he went up for PO and the Ex sold out days later. The Ex for baan went to Waitlist 5 days after he went up for PO, but if I am not mistaken the ES wasn't announced for about a month to a month and a half. GL took 5-6 months to get an ES. She won't take that long though.

Which one is baan? I think I missed that one, was it very limited?? :lol

That sounds about right since I just used all mine on the Keaton Batman. :gah:

Don't worry:

"Currently folks that have items on Pre-Order in which they applied a discount to will not have pending reward points showing in their online account (but that should be fixed in the VERY near future). Right now the programming is in place, so that once your item is shipped to you, your pending points for that order will show in your online account (which you will then be able to use 40 days after your item has shipped to you). People that had an item shipped to them 40 days as of 5PM (PT) on Friday, February 14, 2014 should also be receiving their earned reward points on their shipped order in which they had applied a discount to."

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up BurningRage! :duff

With this move they will kill a lot of the Lcs market, the savings will just pile up surpassing any savings offered outside SSC website.

Now all they need is to deliver what they sell with the protos and they will corner the the whole thing. :thwak
