Re: Wonder Woman for late 2012

I think SS are all good in the sculpting of the body. I'm sure they will do her justice. The face will be the make or break feature for me and will ultimately decide whether I order or not.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2012

It would be nice to see a good Wonder Woman statue that doesn't make her look like a porn star. Seems like the only decent ones are extremely sexualized.

Here's to hoping but I have little hope.

The best in class for WW statues is the AH! WW vs. serpents

There's nothing sexy about the pose, e.g. it's not cheese cake, though the form is another matter.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2012

Oh, yes, that's truly another gorgeous Tim Bruckner piece. I was about to buy the bigger version once, but rumour had it that SSC had already bagged the DC licence and I never pulled the trigger.

What I wouldn't give to have this one in 1:4 scale.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2012

I think the DC Direct WW vs. Ares statue was also underrated. Beautifully sculpted by Jack Mathews with WW in her classic outfit. No canckle styled boots and lots of cleavage. The only thing I didn't care was the light blue on Ares' armor.

Wonder Woman also didn't have any skin tone shading. It made the statue looked very flat imo.
