Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

No cape for WW. The cape on the DCD PF WW was awful and when I removed it the statue looked awesome!

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

I have a feeling we will order Superman this year at comic-con 2013. Then Wonder Woman for next year's comic-con 2014.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

:exactly: probably with Flash inbetween

I like the Artgem art but just as art. Otherwise it's too much sexy/cheeky, not enough warrior princess.

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2012

I can see the PF being like this. The pose would fit right in with Superman and Batman. Plus with all the extra liberties taken on the costume here, that's just a very Sideshow type of thing they would do...adding lines and design elements not existing in the comics. I usually prefer the W breast plate over the bird, but it looks good here.

Agreed. SS needs to keep Wonder Woman's pose classic and timeless and not some ridiculous "flying trough wherever" Green Lantern PF pose that makes me know I will never pull the trigger on that horrendous piece. WW needs to match Superman and Batman. This pic is a perfect pose for her and one that would make her be a must-buy for me. :1-1:

Re: Wonder Woman for late 2013

For PF statues you almost always need a Museum pose. It just works. No crouching, running, jumping. Specifically for the epic pieces like WW.

Yes, yes, yes and yes. You guys covered pretty much all the important points. This statue must compliment the other two for me to jump. I can't wait for a sneak peak at this.

Far from true. It's just easiest to do museum poses well as dynamic poses can go very wrong, such as Green Lantern. But look at say the Sucker Punch and Lara Croft PFs. Those are so great in part because of their highly dynamic poses and interesting bases. Just doing museum poses can be very boring, but it's a safe method of posing.

Oh I'm not denying it totally. I just usually prefer a boring pose. Doesn't mean it can't be dynamic like the ones you mentioned. They do look great. I just enjoy seeing the museum poses because museum poses seem to be more timeless to me.

I'm with KingB on this one :duff

But it's all down to personal preference. I would love SS to do a Spiderman in a classic museum pose but I can imagine some people on here not being happy about that all.

Of course it's all PP as you mentioned. Some dynamics like IM maq. And Spidey com are also ones I wouldn't mind owning. Its cool to throw a few dynamic pieces in there to keep things looking fresh.
