All this foot business makes me want to go check mine when I get home. I was always think my stuff is fine until I read these threads

The left foot on mine literally hit the base with a thud once I finally got the right foot in properly/with a bit of force and maneuvering.

Trying to take some natural light photos of mine...

That is the same as my original body with all the issues. It fit perfect and rested against the base well. Not sure how all these new bodies are getting made differently.

Yeah, it's weird. I'd personally drill out the base as much as I needed to, hidden by the right foot, to make the left foot not hover.

Drill/machine out the footprint?

Because on both of mine the peg hole goes all the way to the hollow base and can't be drilled any deeper.

This was the first thing I looked at on my EX. Peg length and hole depth aren't the issue on mine.

Interesting...so then the statue is leaning backwards? Or maybe the piece that her left foot rests on is glued improperly to the base? Just throwing out ideas....

Base is not the problem, something is wrong with the newer bodies as my old one fit the base perfect. I am going to try and heat one leg and see if it will move enough to make a difference. I had to do that with another statue a while back so that may be all it needs.

I tried heating my well painted spare body with the hover foot and it seems to have worked. It does not touch, but the gap is so slight you can barely see it, much improved from original. It may settle even better once the rest of the parts are assembled to give it a bit more weight.

I should've tried that. I returned mine two days ago. Hopefully third ex will be the charm.

Some good news... hope it settles down even further for you. Strap some weights to her leg ;)

The fact that we are even talking about hair dryers and strapping weights on feet (albeit a joke) is frustrating when you are paying $400 for a statue.

No one is denying that. But I like to see people make some lemonade, rather than just sit there and ***** and moan about the lemons they got.

Does anyone know of a good customizer/painter who could turn this statue into the New 52 costume? Also, what's a ballpark figure of how much it would cost? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

does any one have a extra spear they can sell,, my replacement came broken and sideshow isnt replacing it
