Well, having just finished my Goldfinger figure, I've finally decided that I'd showcase of few of my treasured pieces here.

I love customizing -- although I admit I'm more of a scavenger for good parts than an actual artist -- but here are a few of the figures that I've put together over the years:

OMG . . . that Chewie is the coolest figure Ive ever seen . . must .. have . . one!!! I never thought a furry one could be done that looks convincing but that is spectacular.

Can you divulge any info about this guy WG? Seriously, I' love to get one of those puppies!!!

Glad you all like my stuff. I'm definitely a 'parts gatherer' that's for sure. I enjoy scouring ebay for those little bits of detail that are just right for a figure. I'm also OK at sewing and dying, which helps tremendously, and I like to FUTZ as you guys well know. And to a much lesser degree I dabble with painting (the small things: shoes, gear, etc). For example, Hans Gruber's WALKIE below:

A guy named Mark made Chewbacca for me in 2005. He was on the boards here for awhile (deathstalker I think). After mine, I put Mark in touch with Hurricane and he made another Chewie for him as well (in trade for a Vader I think) and later one for another member here. Mark has since vanished from the collectors scene -- he's fallen in love, gotten engaged and has only home and family on his mind these days.

So, as far as I know, there are only 3 Mark Chewbaccas out there.


Incidently, speaking of FUTZING, here's the original picture of my Mark CHEWIE when I received him (before some serious trimming, styling and mousse):

Well he's AWESOME, you must be proud to own such sweet figure.

I'm happy that Mark found love, but sad that the collecting community doesn't have such a great talent as his at our disposal.
