Is Neil asking who Larry Talbot is? (If yes, he's the human form of Universal's Wolf man, played by Chaney Jr.)

And I've said it before, but that Jaws is a beaut.

I was... and as I said-- please excuse the ignorance:D.
I'd love to make my Jaws look like that as well--- always prefered The Spy Who loved Me Jaws over cry-baby Moonraker Jaws.

THANKS! :)
I believe it was a 39, but I'm taking this info from another board member who knows more about Aliens than I do. I had this gun in my loose parts box and have no idea where it came from -- but it's shape looked closest to the 39. I just painted the handle pearl white. But there are some similar guns at War-Toys... which is where I was gonna get it from until I found I had one.

The one you used does look an awful lot like a Model 39, judging from the grip, but hard to tell without seeing the rest of it. Not that it matters all that much, it looks great just the way it is. I'll do a little more digging around and give War-Toys a shot. If that doesn't pan out I guess I'll just modify the grip details on one of the S&Ws I've already got. Much obliged for the information! :D

MUdshack,

I've checked high and low in the War-Toys site with no luck! I guess we'll have to custom a S&W 1911 with some plastic bits and a x-acto knife. Please let me know if you find it some where else.

Although this is hardly a custom, I figured I'd post it for feedback. Maybe I should have called my thread FUTZED FIGURES, since I do a lot of that. Anyway...

Here's a couple LEIA pics with the futzed dress:

A more aggressive Leia.............................and a demure, hands-behind-back Leia:

Curious what you guys think, and would love to know which pose people prefer. Thanks!

And here's the original out-of-box COMPARE:

The second one matches her expression better. You did a great job Wor-Gar getting the dress to flow down better with those folds going underneath her belt.

Most definitely. Adding folds like that gives her scale and makes her look like a full-size person instead of a plastic figure in doll clothes! Btw, futzing sure is a lot of fun, isn't it?

What you did makes this figure worth looking at.

When I saw the normal piece... I cancelled my order with a quickness.

Thanks guys! And yes, futzing is FUN, and it helps.

I posted this non-custom only because Leia was getting such negative press. I just wanted to show what could be done. It definitely isn't Sideshow's best figure by a long shot, but she can be made to look better next to some of the knock-outs they have made.

I can't believe I haven't post anything since December.

OK, as some of you know, I've recently moved. I now have a "kitchen issue" -- meaning no more kitchen counter with good light, from which I took almost all of my shots for the last 3 years. But the new place is pretty cool, and much, MUCH bigger.

For those curious, here's some pics of the new digs just before moving in...

The new kitchen...

It's a much nicer kitchen, with all new appliances, but no place or light for good figure shots. Most likely all my new pics will be from somewhere in my office, since it has lighting (windows) from two directions.

Anyway, figured I christen the new place online here.

WOW! SO....when I come back out to visit sometime...which room do I get? :D
And no more kitchen counter!?!?! Ah man...I liked that....you have to find a new spot IN THE HOUSE now, for us to see on a continual basis.

Congrats Greg. Bravo to you both! :duff

Nice place you got there!!! Your office is bigger than our entire living room! So, will you be displaying at least some your collection in there? Hope you can find a good spot to photograph your figures. Btw, I still can't get those images of old Ben cavorting on your kitchen table out of my head whenever I see mine on the shelf... :horror :lol :rotfl :rotfl :lol

Looking great WG! Hope to hang with you there one day. :rock

Can't wait to see updated pics when you're settled in!

Congrats on the new place bro! It looks COOL! And your custom figs...jaw-dropping! Man, they rock hard! I can't add anything that hasn't been said already, but dayum, they are incredible!

THANKS GUYS! :duff

Makes me feel good to hear such nice compliments about my new place...well, mine AND Stacie's now.

WOW! SO....when I come back out to visit sometime...which room do I get? :D

I'm still sorting out The Les Room. Got lots of space...but only one bed, so I'll have to check with Stacie about that. :)

Btw, I still can't get those images of old Ben cavorting on your kitchen table out of my head whenever I see mine on the shelf... :horror :lol :rotfl :rotfl :lol

:D

Probably my own personal favorite set too. I hope to out-do it some day.

And your custom figs...jaw-dropping! Man, they rock hard! I can't add anything that hasn't been said already, but dayum, they are incredible!

Thank you very much, Hollis, for the compliment on my little ol' customs. I hope to have a few more new ones up soon.

Very nice place! And I don't think I've ever replied to this thread, but Ben and I love your customs. I think Ben especially likes your Belloq and Toht figures.

Congrats! And I hope we see some new customs soon.:D
