SSC_Nerd said:Sadly, like you say, it's not a fact that this line will be a sucess. I hope for the best though. It just upsets me on these boards that many people are totally just giving this line crap, saying it has no potential, and saying it won't suceed in a million years. Now that's a bad attitude.
galactiboy said:I wonder if this announcement and subsequent product will get a lot of gamers to joing the Freaks board? I know a lot of people were a bit annoyed by an influx of SW fans... I could imagine a similar reaction to gamers... especially from some of whats already been posted.
tomandshell said:The main reason I don't play on Xbox Live as much as I otherwise would is that I get tired of 11 year old punk kids who think they need to use the F word at least seven times per sentence, in between other words like "OWNED!!!" Hope we don't get too many of those on the board.

You mean....Lucas Film Limited? The one(s) who own Star Wars...They won't budge?
I highly doubt that LFL is not budging on Indy. They are most likely, as you said, waiting to see how Indy 4 progresses.
Master Replicas already has the license for Indy props and was told not to release anything until Indy 4 becomes a reality. Now, if that does not happen, I do not think that LFL would yank the license or whatever agreement they have - back from companies that already have it...
It's funny that Sideshow would have trouble getting it...after their stellar career in the field...and Cinemaquette has it!
Kookie said:Look...I don't have the EXACT quote but Sideshow has stated during several chats that the Indy License has some red tape attached even though it's part of "Lucas Films". I'm sure Sideshow isn't holding back on Indy because their trying to torture us or think we don't want Indy. Maybe it's because MR and Cinemaquette have the license that Sideshow doesn't. I'm just going by what I've heard, your simply speculating.

OMG! I had no idea.

There you go, I always felt Diablo had a much better design then Warcraft, it's been awhile but I remember it being far less exaggerated and darker.Fritz said:Aside from being very upset that Sideshow didn't consult me personally on what license "I" wanted them to acquire next, I'm opposed to this (Warcraft) for a couple reasons...
a.) Warcraft takes too many resources from Blizzard from where they should be, developing Diablo III.
b.) Warcraft takes too many resources from Sideshow from where they should be, developing Lord of the Rings figures.
Actually, I think it's a good move by Sideshow (even though a better move would have been announcing a PF Selene!!! ). They're branching out and expanding their collectibles empire. You can't just cater to Star Wars and LotR collectors.
