If the go into the HULK license like they did with Spider-Man 3 (although it is taking quite a bit of time isn't it....) I guarantee this will be done similar to the Spidey/Venom/Sandman piece.
I'd would buy either one. It has "holy grail" written all over it. I'd much rather have a Comiquette. The PF would be huge (which is cool), but finding room to house all these gigantic boxes is challenging. My only hesitation though will be...I have permanently imprinted in my mind any SS Iron Man piece is going to arrive defective and I'll have to deal with the mess of getting a good one. I guess I've taken the "assume the worst" approach when it comes to Iron Man. Yeah, customer service is good and yeah, we'll get a replacement, but top-notch statues deserve top-notch packaging.
For Iron Man the Comiquettes have been in 1/4 Scale. The reason being is that originally there was no mixed media available on the Modern Iron Man to make him a realistic PF, since the Creature of the Black Lagoon though where the mixed media is essentially in the base and not on the figure at all a Hulkbuster IM could technically go that route into being classified as a PF. Either way the question was asking if you'd buy a 1/4 scale Hulkbuster IM which would be about the same size as the Hulk PF himself.
I think even though we have been slammed with IM product lately, in reality unless this was already in the planning stages we wouldn't see it until next year at the earliest for PO and then in 2010 for actual shipment which is plenty of time in between. I'd love to see it done, I'd gladly put HBIM in front of ol' Green Eyes instead Grimm and find a place for the huge box.
