Wow does ESPN really suck now...

I couldn't agree more, Chigger. That "INSIDER" crap pisses me off. Every front page story has some kind of INSIDER article attached to it. A couple years ago I realized that I had been brainlessly going to that site for years for no apparent reason. Anyway, I use CNNSI.com for my general news now and I also check the blogs of my teams beat writers daily.... It only makes sense. Why do we go to a national news source, especially since I'm in California and ESPN is all the way on the other side of the nation, when local writers are the ones who really have the inside knowledge of the teams we follow?

I agree with you! I'm an Idaho Chiefs fan and I go to the Kansascitystar.com for most all my info regarding the team. I may not always agree with Jason Whitlock (one of the writers for them) but I appreciate the news and insight he and the other reporters bring to the site.

Almost forgot THE one thing that pisses me off more than anything else about ESPN.... The blatant east coast bias!!! THE RED SOX AND YANKEES ARE NOT THE EPICENTER OF THE ____ING UNIVERSE!!!!

I am a Redsox fan but agree with you in that regard. They seem to give the NL East most of the pub and everyone else goes by the wayside.

I can't stand Dan Patrick or Keith Olberman. These two guys are so full of themselves it's sickening. Now Olberman is some sort of political hack for MSNBC what a joke!

With the baseball coverage it's pretty blatant, IMO. It's not as if the Red Sox and Yankees don't deserve lots of attention, as they're two of the 5 or 6 best teams in the league but damn... it gets old. How about showing the Pirates and Royals some love??....
