I see this as actually a realization of the God of War games. I just wish they wouldn't rip so much in case GoW comes out in the theaters, there'll still be ample material to show.

I'll still watch this though, because the number of villains went up.

The first one sucked for me, because it paled in comparison to the original. Now that this sequel is out, there's really nothing to compare against, except if the plot still really sucks. The worst case is that it'll be the Greek gods version of a Transformers movie.

When I watch Clash of the titans, percy jackson and the immortals I just wonder what It would be like if kratos comes out of nowhere and rips whatever the monster is to shreds. I'm surprised a GOW movie hasnt been done yet. They probaly might get a crap director and put it on a crappy budget tho.

Brett Ratner wanted to do it. And if you want the most soulless director with not a single bit of style, or any kind of care put into it, he's your man.

It's probably a good thing that God of War hasn't been made into a film. But every time I see this trailer, or even watch the first one, it feels so much like the cinematography and sets were taken from God of War. I always have expect Kratos to run out from behind the camera and stab everyone.

I hope HT gets this licence and adds it to the rest of their announced licences:

It's probably foolish on my part, especially seeing how the Kracken was handled, but I have high hopes for Kronos.

Clash remake was truly awful imo, would never watch again and I'm not usually picky about action movies. This just looks like more of the same, quick attempt at a cash in with weightless cgi creatures smashing into each other in abysmal 3D.
As has been said, there are those who will always love the charm of the original Harryhausen movies, they represent a different era of cinema and a milestone in special effects.

Yeah, the weightless CGI thing is really crap. At least think about real world physics to make it more believable. The 3D was really terrible too.
