Medusa was awesome for sure (Russian Medusa FTW), but the entire "Medusa's lair" scene was too chaotic, flat and forgettable.

I liked Clash of the Titans and I can't wait for this one next Friday!

This may be too much information, but when the original Harryhausen Clash came out I was a HUGE fan. I was really young and my brother told me recently that when he would have to take me to a public bathroom I would stand at the urinal, hands on my hips and say, "I am Perseus, Lord of Argos."

Needless to say when I saw they were remaking one of my favorite films I pretty much cursed the gods. However, I can say with no shame that I thoroughly enjoyed the remake and am very much looking forward to Wrath next week.

I know I may get bashed by some purists, but to me the remake was different enough from the original that I could separate the two and enjoy it for the cheese that it was. It's a nice guilty pleasure for me, and I'm happy we're getting a sequel.

I thought the remake was a decent film as well. Not great, but fun. Cool creatures, felt very "greek myth" to me. Hopefully in the new one they improve upon what worked, and put less of what didn't.

That's how I feel as well. I had a good time watching the remake and even bought it on Blu-Ray. It's not perfect but fun none the less.

Totally agree!!
The original Clash is one of my all-time favorite movies! I remember seeing it as a kid in complete awe!
Anyway, the remake I saw it first in D-Box no 3D and it was awesome... I really enjoyed it a lot... the world they created felt unique and the story was an interesting twist on the original one...

I love all of the creatures and characters... one of my favorites is Charon...

I seriously cannot wait for the sequel!!

THe problem with Clash, was that they cut out so much movie. They edited it down to the basics, which left a lot of characters pointless and without any real motive.

It's not a bad movie. I just wish they didn't cut it all to hell.

True...But it's always about the creatures...Alas I remember the Ray Harryhausen days well from the 60's on up...It was always about the creatures...You know what?...Thinking about it now....I could see the ressurrection of a new Sinbad film now...Sinbad would be cool in the future...

I'd really like to see a GOOD Odyssey movie done or perhaps a well-done Hercules movie.

The new Clash/Wrath series and even Immortals has really showed what CG can do for Ancient Greek myths, though the movies aren't really true to the original tales. They just showed you can make all these historical creatures and characters really cool and I've always been a real big fan of Greek mythology.

And even from a more "realistic" point of view, shows and movies like 300, Spartacus, Rome, and Troy have shown a lot of untouched landscape for Hollywood.

It took me a while to like the updated Clash. Its not as bad the second time around.

just went to the premiere, it's somewhat better than the first one which was horrible, the 3d was done much much better though. Overall still a straight up b movie with bad dialog & predictable boring plot but some nice action scenes, nothing special. Worth a ticket if you are fans of fantasy/sword movies.

the highlight was seeing the hobbit trailer in 3d, it was stunning. I wasnt planning to see it in 3d, but now imax 3d is a must!!
