On the newer figures (Indy and Sparrow) it's only $10 or so as I guess his profit margin are smaller on these.
The DX Joker I got for $350 which was an awesome buy but that was one of the first figures he sold so I guess it was easier to twist his arm as he wanted to establish his business.
Hellboy he gave me a $15 discount.
T1000 was no discount as he said at $150 he is basically making no profit......which is understandable. I wonder why this figure is so unwanted? I mean $150 for basically two figures if you buy a truetype body?!?!?!?!?!

Good news - a few more positive recounts and it'll look like early issues were a result of teething problems associated with getting a business running, Chinese New Year interrupting shipping of items and one recipient who unfortunately did not check their damaged box for its contents before taking receipt of an empty box.

They are willing to knock off quite a bit off their prices. I don't want to get into specifics as I haven't sealed the deals yet but yea...shoot them an offer. It's worth your time.

When did you order the superman figure? I ordered blade on 01/17, and it shipped on the 20th. He said it would arrive between 2-7 to 2-9, still not here, but should arrive by the 19th.

Looks like everyone is getting their orders in, which is great news!
Mine were supposed to have arrived already, but when I followed up with the shop, they said the items will now arrive on the 18th instead.
As disappointed as that news may be, I will still give them the benefit of the doubt (for now); after all they did have a two week long holiday and their post offices must have been delayed because of this, hopefully...

I'd be surprised if they did. Sideshow is the only retailer of collectibles that offers a flex payment plan.

Alter Ego Comics is starting to do flex payment plans on bigger items. They mentioned it in their newsletter a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty happy about since that's probably how I'll be able to buy the Tumbler.

That's pretty good! Sideshow does tend to be a bit more expensive, but I always shop with them because of their flex pay. I wouldn't mind checking out Alter Ego if they streamline the flex payment plans toward other items such as Hot Toys figures.

I still haven't received my figures although they say,they have sent me the figures on the 12 th of Jan. I recieved a tracking number that seems legit. They reversed my paypal payment on Jan 20th, without notifying me. The reversal was clarified later on, once I inquired on the subject.
The status of the package from their side is that it is in transit and will arrive. Since I got my money back I have lost nothing but time, if the package arrives or doesn't.
I have asked to make another order with them, for the same figures. the old figures are insured and they will get their money back.
This is my first order from them, are they a legitimate business?I would say yes. Are they reliable? So far for me the answer would be no. But I guess everybody deserves a second chance.

item shipped never arrived, my payment was reimbursed to me so no harm done. just i never received my item but i also didn't lose any money.
I would definitely say there are/were teething problems and the timing of January is not the best time to order from HK cause of the Chinese New Year.
If i do order from them again i would definitely use EMS over the regular free shipping.

Hmmm lomous your situation sounds really similar to mine, I ordered a few figs from them and according to them they said it would arrive last week but didn't. Now they said they will definitely arrive by this Friday.
I'll give them just these few more days before I raise an alert to Paypal.

This sounds identically the same to mine. The figure was supposed to arrive last week and I get informed that it would be here by the 19th. I'm going for EMS next time. Almost a month waiting for a figure is frustrating and discouraging.

be careful guys....it's getting suspicious....you will receive a "letter" and if you signed for it, that's it. There will be prove that you signed something...and paypal might not take your claim
