Yeah, I read an interview a few years ago where McAvoy said that it was important to be in a franchise like the X Men because it keeps him relevant. He said those are the movies people watch, not all of the other small films he makes, so having a big franchise like X Men to go back to every 2 or 3 years keeps him working, so it's a good career move.

Basically what Affleck is doing with the Batman role. It also allows him to continue doing his independent smaller projects that he enjoys. Though Affleck won't stay young forever and will eventually be "replaced". Prof X and Magneto are actually solid, steadfast character roles for McAvoy and Fassbender since they can play them into their old ages.

Definitely a good career move.

Not sure about the new Four Horseman. But the last two Xmen have been the best so far so I'll see how it plays out first.
 
Anyone see that video where she's doing those kicks. They look awful. Good for someone who's never taken martial arts but still awful.
