Only thing about that poster that bothers me is no Cyclops, other then that I'm happy. X2 they wore ugly black leather costumes and that doesn't stop it from being the best Marvel movie to date.

Correct it was the overall mediocre quality that kept it from being the best Marvel movie, not the costumes. :)

Being completely honest, for me, the least enjoyable movie in the X-men canon so far has been The Wolverine (the Samurai one). That's right, I got more enjoyment from X3 and X-men Origins: Wolverine.

Which isn't to say that I didn't like The Wolverine, I simply found it comparatively boring in terms of pace when weighed against the other ones.

So the other films are good by me, although their internal inconsistencies do bother me and I want to punch Bryan Singer in the face for his careless attitude toward such things.

Man, Origins is the worst superhero movie I've seen since 1997, but you're probably right, it's so bad I actually can watch it more than The Wolverine which is just so boring.

I actually loved The Wolverine, especially the extended/uncut version. It was this quaint, character drama that just happened to feature a metal-clawed mutant, and then the last act unnecessarily turned it into a superhero CGI-fest. It's also the only time I actually liked Wolverine in a movie, so go figure...

And when was there an X3? :cuckoo: :)

But back on topic- my interest in this is waning pretty rapidly. I'll see it in the hopes of a great Fassbender/McAvoy scene (that DoFP plane scene still gets me), but I'm finding very little else about this movie worth seeing (which is sad because 10 years ago, I'd be ecstatic about an X-Men movie with Apocalypse, Psylocke, Archangel, Jubilee, and no Wolverine).

That was my assumption. A Fassneto figure has been high on Johnny's list. An official one presumably.

It's up there on the 'want list'. I doubt it will ever happen though. Remember that Charles figure HT previewed...

What version would they make now anyway, FC, DoFP, Apoc...
