X-Men: Apocalypse - May 27, 2016

Bryan Singer had the chance to right all wrongs with resetting events in DOFP .... too bad that didn't include the ****** costumes

The Horsemen costumes look pretty good, and of course they are the only ones with any kind of a color palette. The X-Men costumes look like they were recycled from the GIJoe movie and are just flat out uninspiring. And because Of Jennifer Lawrence's star power Mystique is shoehorned into the spot where Cyclops would typically be. Still holding out hope for a good movie. Apocalypse is looking good and hopefully he is depicted as huge. Have just come to accept that as log as Singer is on X-Men it's going to be black costumes of some descript. At least he doesn't direct the MCU movies or Iron Man would have had black leather and plastic armor.

Doubt it, Fassneto stole the only "***k" in the film. I believe Wolvie will have a substantial role...well, more than a cameo.

I don't know, if Wolverine isn't even featured on the standee, doubt you'll see much of him in the movie. He's always been central to the advertising of the previous X-Men movies.

Same here! I love X-men but am not caring for this movie at all lol. Too many other potential knock out films this year!

DOFP had this exact same build-up - people saying the outfits were crap, probably criticising Jennifer Lawrence's role and generally not being terribly excited. And the film ended up quite a crowd pleaser *cue various people saying ''nah it sucked, I always thought it sucked''

Will the same thing happen again?

I don't say this because I plan to rub it anyone's face, just a mere observation of an apparently repeating pattern.

Yep, I laughed at DOFP's designs and then ended up loving the movie. I can't help but roll my eyes at the Apocalypse suits, and I'm *sure* Magneto will indeed lift something and Wolverine will get his ass handed to him. Again. And I'll probably enjoy the hell out of it.

Hey! I loved the teaser trailer and gave it a chance on a big screen.
I knew I wouldn't like it as an X-men film and went there expecting at least something interesting and solid.
Not my fault that future fights with Mystentinels and all Quicksilver's scenes were the only good parts.

I like the film, but not as much as when I first saw it. It at least steered the series back on course. And yes, I find First Class the better film.

Hopefully black suits is the worst part of Apoc.

First Class is my favourite X-Men movie, it all just seemed to click into place. I still have a lot of faith in Apocalypse.

Didn't she say she hates doing the makeup thing? She's probably going to be the blonde, receding hairline Mystique through this one.

that would be awesome if that was Apoc's regular size, he should be 8 ft tall at least, but i doubt that he will look like in the film. I know we've seen the trailers but they could make him larger digitally.
