Yeah, the overly PS'd stuff is unavoidable on official posters for the most part. Struzan this isn't. But it looks about 5 million times better than the junk we got for, say, the Avengers movies :yuck

:exactly: Avengers have the worst posters. I think somebody at Marvel just let's their kid play with Photoshop and they figure if their child likes the poster then all kids will like it.

Almost every superhero poster looks fan made. For this franchise this is one of the best they've done.

That ain't saying much then. :lol

We'll get Snoopy to change his mind, keep up the assault! :lol

Y'all better pack a lunch then because it's gonna take you all day plus overtime! :rotfl

Like with this poster. :lol

Disney is just stupid when it comes to posters. They literally had samples of these one-sheets all done up and ready to go and released them as cast/crew gifts or convention exclusives instead of hanging them in movie theaters:

Guillermo del Toro commissioned Struzan posters on his own dime for some of his movies, which were rejected by the studios who went with PS'd junk instead.

Those Cap posters look great, I’ll never understand why studios try to make posters as generic as possible.

Because it appeals to people. These decisions aren't made in a vacuum. I'm certain that they reflect carefully collected marketing data.

You’re probably right but you don’t think posters like the one KHEV posted would appeal to people just as much if not more?
