She does come off quite disingenuous but if she ends up helping the X franchise by getting asses in the seats I guess I can deal with it

I think she's been more open to being Mystique now that Hunger Games is over and she hasn't found another big franchise. I would like her to become a villain though in the next film.

Apparently they may be doing a proper Phoenix/Dark Phoenix storyline or face Sinister for the sequel.

Jennifer is awful. At last she had some lol scenes in DOFP, the dialogue mixed with her acting was hysterical. I was truly laughing out loud. I'm surprised it got such good reviews with her being in it.

the MCU hasn't been 100% faithful either and have made some stupid decisions too... I don't think FOX screwed up X-Men as much as people like to argue (minus the two or three turds, but I think the films have been getting back on track)... but they totally ****ed F4

You're 100% right.

Everyone is on a CW sugar high right now, so they forget that the MCU takes liberties on the regular as much as the other 2 do.

with actors? or score? I didn't even realize there was music playing in civil war and as for cast idk, I guess RDJ is up there but that's it.

I'd say with everything, I LOVE the music for CW but it was alot of the same themes that carried over from TWS so I'm not sure how original it was. I'd also take the CW cast over any of the other casts. X-Men has an awesome cast but Singer has always been good at casting movies, the Russo's are working with what was given to them but I think Marvels casting has been spot on.

No one has forgotten, there's just a big difference between taking liberties and screwing something up and taking liberties to make something better (or at least better suited to a different medium.)
