In other news, I don't know if anyone noticed, but the Rotten Tomato percentage went up significantly since opening day. Initially it was at 45% or so, and now it's at 57%. The last 20 or so reviews posted were largely positive. 3 more percentage points and it goes from "rotten" to "fresh" somehow :lol Yet the "critical consensus" was posted before it was even at 50%. DISNEY CONSPIRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of the reviews are very positive, by the way. I'm feeling less and less anxious about this movie.

Yup, it's heading in the right direction at least.

Of course it can't be hanging with the cool cats like TWS and Civil War mind you, but we'll be nice to it.

You also have to remember that even Civil War went down in percentage once the movie opened everywhere. The score could always drop back into the 40's when they get over a hundred critics. It is strange they had a consensus so early though. The mouse is ruthless man!

That's possible, but I think the more likely scenario is that the early screeners aren't representative of critics in general. Because there was such a large and systematic uptick.

There have also been movies that went up when more reviews came in, Thor 2 is one of them.

Some are taking Kinberg's recent comment that Fox wants another crack at Fantastic Four, but a much lighter in tone version, as an olive branch to Marvel.

Hmmm...I doubt it, but damn, Fox loves to be tortured.

Oh, and Kinberg finally admitted that it sucked.

Oh, and that he appreciated pturtle's support.

Wait until he learns what pturtle has been saying about Apocalypse! :lol

wow why would they post the consensus so early? honestly it's sounding great. Will probably be an underrated gem.
