I'm assuming that that chick figured she couldn't compete with the nerdist.com gal on a "hot geek commentator" level so she figured crazy hair/potty mouth was the way to go.
I did see a bit of her rant about how Captain America fans should get over the "Hail Hydra" thing and thought it was kind of funny though. She said something like, "Oh but he's your favorite character and they're ruining him, boo ****ing hoo, I've watched Dazzler be **** on for three decades now so cry me a river that your precious Cap is going to be evil for like five minutes until they retcon him back."
That is pretty funny.
I don't watch any of her videos but if she's making money on YT discussing movies than more power to her, who am I to judge her.

I did watch it. I wasted my time on it. It was a very boring experience. The teen x men were dumb. Apocalypse was dumb. The ending was dumb.

Yeah that irritates me - the fast-talking, fast-editing ***t. I wanna jump into the screen and tell him to calm the **** down, there can be some silence between sentences, allow even the slightest of moments for the viewer to consider what has been said.

I know she gives a wrong impression with her feminist hairdo and profanities seeming like she's trying to be edgy, but she's always been like that, it's not just a passing trend for her, plus when it comes to pop-culture/comic knowledge she knows waaaay more than most people here, and she's one of the most knowledgeable chicks I've seen in general about this stuff.
I think her only blind spots are StarWars and DC, she doesn't like nor care about those.
About the attention whore, well, aren't most youtubers or public personalities attention whores? That's why they like to be in front of cameras.
But calling her attention whore in of itself is offensive though.

Thats how i see it, she really does know her stuff. Shes not just giving her dumb opinions like other people, shes very knowledgeable on comics and everything.
Shes very well read. Shes smart. I like her because her opinions are more meaty than your typical youtuber.

But if you can get past that stuff, she has some pretty good content.
And yeah that other video is a documentary she and her director/editor produced themselves, I've seen the previous 2 and they are top notch stuff, it's worth the $3 she asks for it for entertainment value. They don't have other ads besides audible every now and then, and that's it, not too bad.

I like some cursing as long as it's not so much that it seems to be getting in the way of the reviewer actually saying anything. On a good day Clipperking's reviews are better than most others on youtube IMO but I can understand how they wouldn't be for everyone - at times he has gone too far with the language or unnecessarily brought flamewars with other youtubers into his reviews.
I turned off that girl's Apocalypse review after a while because I thought it was too rambling and yeah, taking too long to say anything.
