Automated dialogue replacement. Basically an actor records his lines in a sound studio. there are a lot of times when an actors vocals wont be picked up my the stage mic while filming. Usually big action scenes with a lot of explosions and what not. Another example. Tom Hardy had to ADR most of his lines when he played Bane in TDKR.

I could do a better Apocalypse voice

I find myself imitating the old cartoon as i play with my old legends action figures

They've only been shooting for a little over a month so I'm not surprised by how weird his voice sounds. I wouldn't have let him speak at all in the the Trailer. Just have him take his hood off and end it right there.

Oscar isaac was on Conan tonight and said that he's 100% ADRing his apocalypse voice because of how noisy his suit is. He then continued saying he hasn't even figured out the voice yet because he doesn't have to yet. So I think we'll get a badass voice later. Who knows

Ah. Cheers. I too hope his voice is deep and menacing

I see. Hopefully they go deep with it.

Yeah not a good move. But I'm sure that is just literallyhow he spoke the line right there on the set. It'll change

I see. Hopefully they go deep with it.

:lol :lol :lol

Perfect example :lecture

I remember being a 5 year old kid running out of the room when i first saw that

My older brother was obsessed with Transformers and it just came out on vhs and my aunt got an advance copy at their store.

I never got past that part until I was 8

True story

also would've preferred Storm to look more like her Mutate 20 variant in Xtinction Agenda... since she's young and brainwashed.

Horsemen of Apocalypse should have uniformed costumes even though Id still like to see Olivia Munn in her skin tight Psylocke costume

Thanks for the link!

Apocalypse so far looks a little funny, but I don't care, designs were never a strong point in the X-Men franchise, I just hope the story telling and acting is good.

The beautiful X-Women

That's a pretty cool pic. I'm not fond of Fox going the universe building route but everything in their universe looks so distinct from one another. F4 looks nothing like X-Men, and neither look anything like Deadpool, hopefully they stick to that and taking risks.

Wait they can say the F word in an Xmen movie? I mean yea Wolverine said go **** yourself in first class but damn that was only for the comedy. Damn fox is like " well marvel if you wanna completely try to bury these characters and pretend they dont exist then I guess we dont have to play super nice for the kids since you dont sell any toys or make shows of these characters anymore".

Yeah, I was taken back by the F bomb, thankfully my son wasn't watching it with me.

Not even the sleazy Suicide Squad SDCC trailer dropped the F bomb, what the hell Fox. :lol

I think that's exactly right. Since Marvel is doing what it's doing, Fox is making more purely adult entertainment. Look no further than Deadpool for further proof. And I'm glad to see it. The X-Men usually had darker and more threatening stories than other titles anyway.
