A little more from the panel:

"I'm more Raven" than Mystique in this film, says Jennifer Lawrence. "She didn't want to be the face of a world that doesn't exist anymore."

"He's kind of hung up his cape and his evil ways, and that's where we find him." - Michael Fassbender on Magneto.

To moderator Chris Hardwick's question, Nicholas Hoult: "I'm sorry, I can't concentrate because I'm still so psyched about the Deadpool trailer."

I think that's exactly right. Since Marvel is doing what it's doing, Fox is making more purely adult entertainment. Look no further than Deadpool for further proof. And I'm glad to see it. The X-Men usually had darker and more threatening stories than other titles anyway.

Agreed. They don't have censor themselves or compromise for the sake of the kiddie audience and in that tell stories with more depth

I was really disappointed in what I saw from Fox. That image of Wolverine pretty much sums up why I don't like this universe anymore. I don't want to be anymore negative, so I won't post anymore, but I still hope these movies turn out well for all the fans.

If "more depth" means Wolverine giving the middle claw finger to his fans then i'll just stick with WB/DC.

At least I'll get Batman with their FU. :lol

Wait they can say the F word in an Xmen movie? I mean yea Wolverine said go **** yourself in first class but damn that was only for the comedy. Damn fox is like " well marvel if you wanna completely try to bury these characters and pretend they dont exist then I guess we dont have to play super nice for the kids since you dont sell any toys or make shows of these characters anymore".

Yeah, I was taken back by the F bomb, thankfully my son wasn't watching it with me.

Not even the sleazy Suicide Squad SDCC trailer dropped the F bomb, what the hell Fox. :lol

If I remember correctly, they could say it once in FC and keep their rating. I have a feeling this will be that. It's an attempt to be "edgy" that isn't really needed. The last two X-Men films were fantastic without having to "shock," I feel like that is what this is. I'm sure in the overall picture it wonder really matter. I like the feel of this so far although Apocalypse does look smaller than I would have wanted but who knows how that character will progress. I like this, I like Deadpool, could care less about Fantastic Four (part of me is hoping it'll fail so they go back to Marvel) but you gotta appreciate what Fox is trying to do here.

The description I read was that his costume was indeed large.

The problem I had was the voice but that can be fixed.

If the movie is as good as DOFP then we're good.

I'm not a fan of cursing to be edgy, that can be accomplished in so many other sophisticated ways.

Deadpool being the exception, it belongs there, the filth is part of his charm.

I know not to take my son to Deadpool.

But in X-Men it's not needed, although his FU in FC was funny.

I'm all for F bombs generally but it seems a bit 'token' from X-men now ever since First Class. Also was that Magneto saying it? Doesn't feel right coming from him.

The **** word has basically been a tradition since First Class, they did it in the Wolverine and DOFP too. It doesn't make their movies better or worse but it at least reminds me I'm not watching a Disney film.

I would probably be more worried about taking my nephew to see these films because of the violence than him hearing one curse word that he probably wouldn't even understand. X2, DOFP, The Wolverine, and FC all really pushed the PG13 rating.

How did I miss that Hugh Jackman pic? That looks great, I'm wondering if that pic is indicating this might be an R rated film.

Gory Wolverine movie > Cursing Wolverine movie.

I could watch him dice baddies up all day long in glorious R rated Rambo 4 style without him having to tell anyone to **** off.

Let his blades do the talking.

Love this pic of Sophie at the con :love She is going to be an amazing Jean.

I wish the full teaser leaked :(

I want to see Sophie and Olivia in action.

So I guess Oscar accidentally revealed his four horsemen at the panel too? Psylocke, Angel, Magneto and Storm. Should be good! :D
