Ironically McAvoy's now already apart of another franchise with a more interesting take on the Superhero/comic book genre.

The whole cast will go... No way Marve/Disney is keeping anyone. The only actor that has a chance is Reynolds as Deadpool. They already said his movies will stay R, and he's easily bounced around as is the nature of the character and the whole 4th wall thing.

The movie is too far along for Disney to scrap it. It will get released, but will be the end of the Fox Xverse as marvel reboots it into their MCU.

They're going to make it part of the MCU.

Drawn in part from the original 'Phoenix' comic storyline, the film will apparently be the most sinister and somber entry in the series, and includes a "massive twist halfway through that will irrevocably change the course of the franchise," according to EW.

I expect this film to be terrible, and if the MCU reboots it’ll still probably be terrible.

The storm actress is claiming that they’re not recasting though.

If Part of the deal was to bring the foxmen into the MCU, same continuity and all, I’m going to die laughing.

This film was always in development long before this deal went through, so I seriously wouldn't put any stock in anything said right now. Especially in some jobber actress.
