we can only prayGreat metaphor for Disney!
Contracts are already signed, deals already made, promises already kept. It’s also possible that “old” Fox (what’s left) is getting some money out of it as well.

How is that a great metaphor for Disney?
Are they dying and going out of business tomorrow or what.
That’s not even a metaphor for the X-Men franchise because Fox just gave it life by selling it to Disney!
That’s more of a metaphor for the DCEU lol.
So this is what is really going to happen to the x men once disney take over they are going to have Magneto and Charles crack one liners and you you though star wars was goo my to get screwed wait till they reboot this

Not much money. People are already and have been waiting for the arrival of the xmen to the mcu. I can see this bombing really bad since fans will skip it, Disney won’t market it properly, the last movie left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth, the Bryan singer stuff, and just tired of the franchise.
Plus dark Phoenix again? Yea def not seeing this.
Disney (Guys w/weapons) acquiring Fox (knucklehead on ground)?
Disney taking over is not the ideal direction for this franchise in my view. I have a pretty good idea what we'll get from here. But while we may not achieve films as good as X2, First Class, or Days of Future Past, we probably won't also get anything as bad as X-Men: Origins or X3. And it won't be all that jarring, in the sense that this franchise has taken a lot of different approaches over the years, and hasn't always been logically consistent. But there are some issues I've had over the years with Fox's take. There is room for improvement in some areas. But real risks like Deadpool, a horror-themed New Mutants, or period pieces like First Class? You can forget about that moving forward (beyond possibly sequels or spinoffs of those that Fox already took a risk with). In all likelihood, we'll have fewer X-related films, and they'll all have to fit within Feige's strategic plan of course. But, I'll hope for the best. I suspect we'll have some fun films.
In the meantime, I'm very curious about what Kinberg's approach is with this film. His writing history has been a real mixed bag. Mostly mediocre or bad. Seems like a pretty big risk to go with someone with no history directing anything.
I’m just tired of them focusing on a select group of xmen. Most xmen are one and done. Atleast in the mcu they’ll show there powers with no limits held. No freaking iceman using his signature moves for 5 mins
I wonder if this movie will lead them into the MCU as in Feige having a connection scene included in the plot.
We'll see. But I don't know that they will be branching out into more obscure characters like Strong Guy, Mimic, Forge, etc. The Avengers, after all this time, haven't explored their c- list at all. Where is Dr. Druid, damn you, Disney??!!!I’m just tired of them focusing on a select group of xmen. Most xmen are one and done. Atleast in the mcu they’ll show there powers with no limits held.
