The character of Apocalypse was to be an 8 ft tall CGI character that would destroy most of the planet in the third act and make himself 300 feet tall during his final battle with the X-Men. The proposed budget for the movie was over $250 Million. The studio gave Singer and co. $160 so all of the above was rewritten and ultimately reduced.

Yea except he looked stupid. Like a smurf gone rouge. Design isn't always key but hey it might of helped a bit. Hell I don't think the xmen franchise ever had a badass villain besides magneto and even that is starting to fade. Tbh I'm sick of fox's take on the xmen.

If they had any integrity they'd end it with Logan. But da money.
