I'm glad that they kept them relatively simplistic and utilitarian like the comics instead of going the Transformers route and making them hyper overcomplicated eyesores.
 
I am hoping the later advanced versions of Sentinels will be entirely in CGI.

****ing rad that they actually built a full size practical model though, guessing it will just be used for close ups and the like. Usually it's just bits and pieces practical with the rest being cgi.
 
I was serious. I think for the early versions these physical models will do great, but eventually we need to see the more powerful and menacing upgraded model, which obviously can't be built. So CGI needs to step in there.
 
That Sentinel model is for when they're in the 70's, I'm pretty sure the present time model will look more buffed up and less awkward.

The only weird looking part is the vent on his chest. Does this thing overheat or something?

I hope so. I'm okay with that being the Sentinels in the 70s. Hopefully the present day ones look more bad ***.
