I thought it was fantastic that Marion was willing to take such a leap and make Talia mentally challenged like that. It made it so more compelling to watch her overcome those boundries like walking up steps and stringing togeather full sentences. Not to mention her getting her revenge. Afterall nothing says payback like knowing what the genitals of the man who murdered your father taste like.
