I agree. Just making a point. A character like Toad gets screen time but Rogue doesn't? :lol :dunno

If they could, then she would be in the movie. Singer wanted her in, just the scene was impossible to finish I guess, even on the big budget they have.

Then an "extended version".

He never said the scene was impossible to finish; he just made it sound like it was over-kill or something, and maybe the final cut was too long.

He pretty much understood it as, the scene was too damn expensive to actually put in.

So Toads a grown man in the past or alive in the future? Because they either got his age completely wrong based on Ray Park or Storm's dumb little line was wrong afterall and Toads don't fry. :lol

It's just between that and Wolverine starring, the lack of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Rogue, Storm is pregnant so her scenes were limited. Wheres the X-Men? They know Magnetos a villain right? :lol

There's plenty of other X-Men.

Beast, Havok, Warpath, Prof X, Ink, Sunspot, Bishop ect...

And Magneto goes back and forth between villain and "hero"

We were all foaming at the mouth for more Havok. And I'm sure Bishop and Warpath will get proper character development in the 4 mins before time travel that will make me care if they live or die. :lol

Yup, people are forgetting this is basically a sequel to First Class. Future mutants won’t have much screen time, which is why one scene gets cut, and there goes Rogue.

Except in reality, it's not at all. It's this weird bridge thing Bryan is trying to build to repair his own stuff that he walked away from and that nobody really was asking for. This is not at all a proper sequel to First Class.

Apocalypse being announced already and losing Lawrence and whats his face pretty much confirms that.

:exactly::lecture:exactly:

Basically it's Superman Returns again. Retconning trying to fix things Bryan sees as wrong when in reality, we want something new fresh and differant.

Nothing wrong with trying to rebuild or repair something when its broken, and the X-men franchise was broken. Apocalypse was kind of stupid, but Lawrence and her bag boy boyfriend want out of the franchise is fine by me. Those are two roles the originals played much better in my opinion.

Let me ask you, do you think this movie is going to be terrible?

It is a sequel to First Class, 70% of the movie follows those characters and picks up where we left them last, it continues their journey, hence it's a sequel.

It's also a resolution of sorts to the OT characters.

Well, let's hold on a minute. Because you were just saying this is a sequel to First Class. If it is, does it matter how well Frasier and ****s played their parts? And really Kelsey and Rebecca were so amazing? Kelsey was only in a Brett Ratner movie what did he do that was so awesome? Aren't the young counterparts that much more important now especially after this one regardless of what you thought of the actors? Wouldn't losing what little is left of that new young cast be catastrophic? Unless of course the plans to go right back to the old cast after this one which is why they were pissed and walked. They thought they signed up for Matt Vaughns new young X-Men and instead Singers back and announcing sequels without even telling his actors?

X-Men was broken? Bryan Singer broke the **** out of it sure, but than First Class fixed it pretty well. More focus on actual X-Men and not Wolverine, a really great setting and feel. FC is easily the best X-Men movie. And alot of people feel that way.

Now how is bringing back Wreck it Ralph and all those elements that broke it going to help?

It's also a resolution of sorts to the OT characters.

That's why they already announced a sequel to it?

Brett Ratner and Rothman broke X-Men (Singer shouldn't have left though). Vaughn, Goldman and Singer fixed it again.

Lawrence and Hoult signed up for a three picture franchise, not specific directors movies.

And yet they want nothing to do with Singer. Hmm. :dunno

Singer hasn't fixed anything. What are you crediting him for? I get your excited for the movie but thats bull****.

To me them walking is a good indication that Singer is planning on going back to his old cast, why wouldn't he, those are his friends, he didn't work with the First Class cast until this one and I'm sure they still took a backseat to his cronies he's known for 20 years. Apocalypse will likely do away with the First Class actors altogeather and we'll be right back to where we were in the late 90s.

I read that article as them being more annoyed about the announcement of the release date of their next X-Movie before they had chance to arrange or shuffle other projects than wanting nothing to do with the director.

He should've waited and planned things with the actors so it works for everyone involved, scheduling-wise.

Singers using the 70s cast as props is what it comes down to. Is there anyone who actually believes after this movie we aren't going back to Hugh Jackman leading the old Ian McKellan cast for a whole movie for Apocalypse? Are they going to keep shoehorning Fassbender into Time Travel flashback gimmicks every movie now? :lol Theres no one left in the 70s if Mystique and Beast walk. It'd be just Charles and Magneto by themselves. :lol It's obvious that talented as **** actors like Fass and Lawrence are being used for nothing more than a set up so he can make things right for his old cast that he screwed over by him walking away to do Superman.
