Dude, 70% of this movie is the first class era. That means they're the main cast, not props.

And while it's not confirmed it's rumoured that X-Men Apocalypse will exclusively be the First Class era/characters.

The beauty of the 70s/80s era is that they can re-introuduce characters and introduce new characters with relative ease thus doing a soft reboot while not erasing the previous movies.

Well he should be extremely concerned that Lawrence and Hoult want to walk. That's literally half the cast. :lol

Agreed. Especially Lawrence since she's the most popular actress in Hollywood right now.

That being said McaVoy and Fassbender are the main draws, re-introducing younger Cyclops, Jean, Storm ect.. require Xavier.

He pretty much understood it as, the scene was too damn expensive to actually put in.

But it's already been shoot, right? :dunno

That's why he made the comment about it possibly being on the dvd release.

Apocalypse being announced already and losing Lawrence and whats his face pretty much confirms that.

Has that actually been confirmed, or is it just a rumor?

I couldn't find solid info on it.

I’m assuming it had a ton of cgi or something. But I could be wrong.

Well, let's hold on a minute. Because you were just saying this is a sequel to First Class. If it is, does it matter how well Frasier and ****s played their parts? And really Kelsey and Rebecca were so amazing? Kelsey was only in a Brett Ratner movie what did he do that was so awesome? Aren't the young counterparts that much more important now especially after this one regardless of what you thought of the actors? Wouldn't losing what little is left of that new young cast be catastrophic? Unless of course the plans to go right back to the old cast after this one which is why they were pissed and walked. They thought they signed up for Matt Vaughns new young X-Men and instead Singers back and announcing sequels without even telling his actors?

X-Men was broken? Bryan Singer broke the **** out of it sure, but than First Class fixed it pretty well. More focus on actual X-Men and not Wolverine, a really great setting and feel. FC is easily the best X-Men movie. And alot of people feel that way.

Now how is bringing back Wreck it Ralph and all those elements that broke it going to help?

That's why they already announced a sequel to it?

I thought Grammar played a perfect Beast. But What I was saying is, since in my opinion, there has already been way better people who acted the role of Beast and Mystique, I wouldn’t mind them being re casted since they are not that iconic or anything to that role. And they are made up of cosmetic blue material so it would make the transition of new actors a bit easier to swallow. I won’t lie, Lawrence is needed for huge box office success though.

Also Singer had a lot to do with the series comeback, he helped write the original script and was very involved with the making of the FC.

I seriously don’t think any summer blockbuster will top Days of Future Past this year.

I don't know. As a huge X-Men comic book fan, I'm just not feeling any energy in this franchise at all. I think of all the superhero films, it's probably the hardest for the general movie-going public to get behind (as opposed to Avengers or even re-tread Spider-Man). I'd be very surprised if this movie does really well at the box office, when compared to Nolan Batman or Avengers, personally.

Anyone think this will be the X-Men equivalent to Star Trek: generations?
While I don't have high expectations, I don't suppose it will be that sad.

Oh Box Office I think it will be good but not billion good. I just meant like well perceived. Then Apocalypse might be a box office beast in 2016

Not going to lie, I think Hugh is awesome as Wolverine. Him being the feature character in this film has me even more stoked.

Same here, I think the best I seen him play Wolverine was in X-2 and X-1. I think Singer understands the character better than any director who has handled him so far. The slight beserker rage he showed in the mansion scene, is one of my favorite scenes in any superhero film.
