Beast looks much better in this film than in FC in my opinion.

That looks like a terrible makeup job, especially around the mouth.

I remember a year or two ago Singer supposedly tweeting "Don't worry everyone, no black leather costumes this time around!" Of course we didn't realize that what he really meant was that they'd just be black cotton, black plastic, black polyester, etc.

Beast looks much better in this film than in FC in my opinion.

This is what I mean with the unimaginative visual effects. It's passable, but it looks like what it is, which is a guy in blue-face and some fake blue hair. With the FX available today, I just don't get why he's not pushing it further and creating a better illusion. I just know for Apocalypse he's going to just paint some meathead blue and have him talk with a gruff voice instead of CGI.
