I remember a year or two ago Singer supposedly tweeting "Don't worry everyone, no black leather costumes this time around!" Of course we didn't realize that what he really meant was that they'd just be black cotton, black plastic, black polyester, etc.

The movie designer for first class is not the same as as for the other X Men movies hence why the designs for first class is different. I am not a fan of the costumes but if the story follows the comic it its mostly set in the past.this is one of the most famous Xmen stories and and it is brilliant that they're going to use this as a prequel to the age of apocalypse storyline as that is one of the most famous x men story archs ever published

Just read Bishop is actually a time traveler, and he goes to different timelines to fight wars. I have a feeling they might reference Cable in this film.

I'm pretty sure Singer has what I'd call a "black shirt syndrome", that's when someone is too afraid to wear anything besides black and dark blue etc. If you open his closet I bet his entire wardrobe is like that. Too bad he has to take that to his movies though, no one wants to see his boring color, should have let the art lead handle that if he knows he's uncomfortable with wearing color himself.

Young Magneto, Beast, Young Professor X, Mystique, QuickSilver, Trask and Sentinel Mark I all colorful.

I’m assuming if they correct things from the past and stop the assassination that could lead to the return of Scott and Jean, which would probably change what ever future timeline Bishop is from as well, which means Cable could exist.

Reread what you typed. To me that sounds like he's excited to be using the character. It doesn't sound like he's doing Age of Apocalypse. Besides, somewhere here is another link posted where he stated he wouldn't be doing AoA, just introducing the character.

Some people can take that as a hint, if one of his favorite stories is AOA that he might be adapting that. Reading the interview it seemed that way.
