A solid trailer is released, still non stop complaints, why doesn't this happen in other marvel studios movie threads?

Vs. ConAir Blowdryer robots or an anorexic looking robot wearing square sequins that shoots fire out of a sunflower face? :dunno :lol

Eh, not really. They're both ****. In my opinion, as much as I hated the movie, I liked The Last Stand's Sentinel design. They should've just stuck with that.

:lecture God forbid there'd be consistency within these films.

Although, I'm not fully on the hate bandwagon, I've typically enjoyed the X-men films.

I liked the trailer. The poster may have sucked, but, generally, X-Men have a pretty high success rate, for me, and they get a lot of unwarranted ****. X3 and Origins were awful, but I really don't see why everyone's so cynical about the franchise. There was a time when X2 was widely regarded as one of the best superhero movies around, and 1 was far from awful, or even bad, for that matter; I liked it. Then, First Class and The Wolverine provided te 1-2 punch of being really awesome. Moral of the story: I hardly think 2 bad films in a series should negate the creedence of 4 good ones.

If Xavier really was central to this movie, he'd be central to the poster. Instead we get sex symbols for both genders front and center.

It wouldn't make sense to use that design because the past takes place about 40 years before x3. This is the mark I, and the future takes place about 10 years after x3, so that version still fits, it just to show that different new models are frequently being produced and upgraded to "protect" mankind from mutants.

They should build a Sentinel to protect us from Singer's art choices. :lol

There is enough colors besides black here to scare him away.

That's not true, James Mcavoy isn't a big enough star to attract a lot of attention. Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Lawrence have to be the main selling point on posters. Fox would be stupid not to show their face everywhere. It's like Brad Pitt on most poster for 12 Years A Slave, even though he was in the movie for about 5 minutes.

But the Sentinel head was just a cameo, it wasn't integral to the story. No reason to not use it again, or something similar.

Thats true, they could have, I was just explaining its still consistent. I like the future design but the comic design could have looked more comic accurate.
