I think they should just keep the young cast and when Jackman is done get rid of all the other older cast. Move forward with the new cast and make stories set in the past.

Or just reboot the whole damn thing and do it right.

Well I think this new film is meant to get rid of most of the older cast. I don't see McKellen, Stewart, Berry, Paquin, uh, Iceman kid, etc. returning after this one. Looks to me like the focus will be First Class guys, Jackman, and new actors.

I don't get the sound effect either but it used to drive me crazy that he grew considerably larger when he changed. I understand his density/weight increasing but how does he grow 2 feet and gain all that mass if nothing is actually added to his body? Rogue didn't become giant when she borrowed his powers so it doesn't make sense. I like the idea that he's just a big guy that's muscular from working his ass off on the family's collective.

They fixed that in the Ultimate universe. He's just a naturally big guy. The metal skin just changes his weight and strength. But I agree with you.

Can't they just freakin go mental and somehow alternate Havoc into Cyclops through some bizarre freak accident with Kitty and timelines and ****?

Wolverine solo does not work for me. Origins was a debacle and I didn't really found last year's engaging either. Apart from completely ruining the silver samurai.

I don't know how they wanna recast Wolverine without rebooting the franchise man.

How the frig do you do that? Throw insane pool parties?

Holy **** Fassbender does sound like McKellon now, that's pretty awesome. And now we know Xavier can walk because there's a spinal treatment. But it effects his DNA which shuts down his powers.

Now I get why Singer said that he will learn to accept the chair and even appreciate it. That's actually a pretty cool character arc for Xavier imo.

He's a fine actor, no doubt. So's McAvoy. They're probably the two biggest reasons why First Class is as widely regarded as it is.

I agree with you there. Him AND Fassbender compliment each other nicely. Without the other, I don't think the first film would have been as strong.

I've been a fan of McAvoy since the Dune miniseries as Leto. Before he did anything widely known, I already was like that guy is probably gonna get more famous roles than this.

I love them equally, the thing just is, Magneto is cooler character.

That's true because it banks on their relationship but the reason Mcavoy doesn't get credit is he's walking around and has hair the whole time. Same reason he won't get recognition for DOFP. He won't look even remotely the way we want him to. Magneto gets a pass because he was so badass hunting down those nazis.

Thats definitely before me, first time I saw him was in Starter for 10 along with Benedict Cumberbatch, but he blew me away in Atonement, he was robbed of a Nomination.
